Controller of Examinations

Essential Qualification:

Appointment to the post of Controller of Examination shall be by selection. The following categories of persons shall be eligible to be considered for appointment:

Persons, who have knowledge or experience of academic or educational or institutional administration and are working in Universities or other institution s of Higher or Technical education or research establishments:

as Professor (or equivalent);or

as teacher or academic or research staff, with a service of at least fifteen years including eight years in the rank/grade of Reader (or equivalent); or

as administrative officer/ functionary, and hold a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or its equivalent grade in the Seven-point scale of the University Grant Commission) and with service of at least fifteen years, including eight years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent.

Persons working in Government or a Public Sector Undertaking and possessing appropriate administrative/managerial experience with a service of at least ten years in posts of Group ‘A’ level or with an overall service of at least fifteen years including eight years in posts of Group ‘A’ level;

A Master Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale.

At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs 7000 and above or with 08 years’ of service in AGP of Rs 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.

Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institution of higher education.

Finance Officer

Essential Qualification:

Appointment to the post of Finance Officer shall be by selection. The following categories of persons shall be eligible to be considered for appointment:

Persons, who have knowledge or experience of Financial Administration/Management and are working in Universities or other institutions/establishments of higher education/research: as Professor (or equivalent); or as teacher or academic or research staff, with a service of at least fifteen years including eight years in the rank/grade of Reader (or equivalent); or

as financial officer/functionary, holding a Post-graduate degree in Commerce/ Management with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade (in the UGC Seven-point scale) and with service of at least fifteen years, including eight years as Deputy Registrar or Deputy Finance Officer or equivalent.

Persons working in Government or a Public Sector Undertaking and possessing appropriate experience of Finance Administration/Management with a service of at least ten years in posts of Group ‘A’ level or with an overall service of at least fifteen years including eight years in posts of Group ‘A’ level; Charted Accounts with an experience of not less than twelve years as Charted Accountant.

A Master Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale.

At least 15 years’ of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs 7000 and above or with 08 years’ of service in the AGP of Rs 8000/- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration. OR; Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education. OR; 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Deputy Registrar

Essential Qualification:

A Master Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale.

Five years of experience as a Lecturer in a College or a University with experience in Educational Administration. OR; Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education. OR; Five years Administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post.

Desirable Qualification:

Persons with experience in the area of Personnel/Administration/Accounts & Finance will be given preference.

Medical Officer

Essential Qualification:

A MBBS Degree from a recognize Institute.

Three years of experience in a reputed Hospital/Health Centre as a Medical Officer.
