Qualifications:-
Associate Professor in Physical Education:-
Academic Level – 13A
- Good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55Yo marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed) with
- Specialization at Master level in any of the following games: Vollyball, Kabaddi, Tennis, Handball, Badminton.
- OR Diploma/PG Diploma in Sports Coaching in any of the above games.
- A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and, I or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/ industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 in UGC Regulations, 2018.
Assistant Professor in Physical Education:-
Academic Level – 10
A).
- A Master’s degree with 55o/o marks for an equivalent grade in followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian accredited foreign university with
- Specialization at Master level in any of the following games
Table Tennis, Gymnastics, Badminton, Judo, Handball, Basketball (Woman), Athletics, Tennis, Wrestling, Yoga, Volleyball
OR
B). Diploma/PG Diploma in Sports Coaching in any of the above games
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET: Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programmer prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/ Bye-laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/College Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:-
- The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in a regular mode;
2. The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners;
3 . An open Ph.D. viva voce ofthe candidate Jrasbeen conducted;
4. The Candidate has published two research papers fiom his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal;
5. The candidate has presented at least two papers based on hisArer Ph.D. work in conferences/ seminar sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ ICSSPJ CSIR or any similar agency
B).
The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/ Institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following: (i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or (iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWIJ) of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Shanghai).
Assistant Professor in Health Education & Assistant Professor in Medicine (Female):
Academic Level -10
- MBBS with Post Graduation in Medicine from Recognized Medical Institution
- Three years teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned speciality/ super speciality in recognized teaching Institution.
Registrar:-
- Master’s Degree with at least 55oh of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
- At least l5 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level-11 and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level-12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration
- OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education,
- OR 1 5 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
Finance Officer:-
Appointment from the panel of names of the rank of Director or Deputy Secretary forwarded by the Central Government preferably from organized Accounting and Finance Services of Central Government, e.g., Indian Audit & Accounts Services, Indian Post & Telegraph Finance & Accounts Services, Indian Civil Accounts Services, Indian Railway Accounts Services, Indian Defence Accounts Services etc.
Deputy Registrar:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55oh of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
- 9 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level-10 and above with experience in educational administration:
- OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education;
- OR 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in equivalent post.
Assistant Registrar:-
Master’s Degree with at least 55%
How to Apply :-
After submitting the online form, Applicants who are already in service shall submit his/her application through proper channel, in case his,4rer application is not forwarded due to whatever reasons till the time of written test or interview as the case may be, he/she should produce a ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE’ obtained from his/her employer in a sealed cover from the employer failing which he/she shall not be allowed to appear in the test/interview is it” maybe. Candidates should carefully read teaching research requirements of the relevant discipline and apply only if they have requisite qualifications and experience. However, those who do not meet the academic standards and requirements should not apply for the sake of applying. The applicants shall ensure to submit duly filled application form online on or before 15.06.2020.
General Instructions:-
- ONLINE PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE AND SUBMISSION OF FILLED IN APPLICATIONS:Application Fee {Rs.1000/- and Rs.300/- (portal charges fee non-refundable) for UR & OBC Category and no application fee but only Rs.300/- ( portal charges fee non-refundable) for SC/ST/PWD (Divyang) Candidates. Payment shall be made through online portal only.
- Applicants are advised to submit online applications against each post to the Institute well in advance, without waiting for the iast date.
- The candidates desire to be considered for the post at Gwalior as well as NERC, Guwahati, wilt be required to submit applicat ions separately
- The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle him/her for being called for interview. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of academic score which may be higher than the minimum prescribed as decided by duly constituted Screening Comrnittee/s and approved by the Competent Authority. Call letters for attending interview will be sent only to the short-listed candidates by Speed Post/Registered Post/Courier service/e-mail. No correspondence will be made with applicants who have not been shortlisted/not called for interview
- In case the Institute receives large number ofapplications for a particular post, the Institute in such cases reserves the right to adopt stringent criteria for shortlisting candidates to be called for interview either by conducting a written test or adopting a marking system as approved by Competent Authority.
