A minimum of 6 years of post – Ph.D. teaching / research / industrial/professional experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor Grade I  

Candidates should be below 50 years of age.
3 Assistant Professor Grade I Academic level 12 Rs.1,01,500/- as per 7th PC Ph.D. with first class.  

A minimum of 3 years of post – Ph.D. teaching / research / industrial/professional experience.
Candidates should be below 37 years of age.
4 Assistant Professor Grade II Academic level 10 Rs.70,900/- or Academic level 11 Rs.75,300/- as per 7 th PC Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate discipline, with a consistently very good academic record and evidence of ability to pursue independent high quality teaching and research.

Candidates should be below 37 years of age.

Interested candidates can submit their applications online using the institute portal (Careers section), which will remain open from 10:00 hrs. June 01, 2020 to 17:00 hrs. June 30, 2020 in this cycle. Documents in support of Qualification, experience, age and category needs to be attached while submitting the online application form.

  3. Suitable residential accommodation or HRA as per Institute rules.
  4. Depending upon the qualification and experience, a higher start / salary may be offered in deserving cases.
  5. Accommodation: On joining the Institute, 15 days free accommodation in the Institute Guest house and upto a month on concessional rates, and allotment of quarter, subject to availability

Instructions and Other Terms and Conditions:-

  1. Allowances, Age relaxation and other terms and conditions of service are as decided by the Institute from time to time, subject to directions/guidelines of the State Government.
  2. Recently retired faculty members from reputed institutes may also apply. They may be considered for appointment on contract for a suitable period.
  3. Faculty members from other academic institutions or scientists/researchers from R&D organizations having requisite qualification may also apply for appointment as visiting faculty or on deputation, the initial period for which would be 1 year, extendable up to maximum 3 years, based on performance. Such applicants should submit a letter from their employer mentioning that they will allow the candidate to undertake this assignment, if selected.
  4. The candidates selected, shall be appointed on probation for two years.
  5. The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all positions.
  6. Applications have to be made online using the institute portal (Careers section) only. Applications submitted by any other mode will be out rightly rejected.
  7. All eligibility conditions / educational qualifications must be fulfilled / acquired on or before the date of advertisement.
  8. Candidates need to attach recommendation letters from three referees who know about their teaching and research capability.
