HTET Eligibility: Age Limits

HTET Educational Qualification for Primary Teacher (Level 1):-

Candidates who are going to appear in the Level 1 examination for Primary Teacher must have to meet the following criteria

1. Candidates should have completed their senior secondary examination with at least 50% from a recognized board and must have passed in 2 years of Diploma of Elementary Education.
2. Candidates who have passed in the 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) are also eligible for the examination.
3. Those candidates who are in the final year of D.El.Ed or B.Ed can also apply for the exam.

HTET Educational Qualification for Trained Graduate Teacher (Level 2):-

Candidates must have to meet any one of the following eligibility criteria to apply for the HTET Level 2 exam:

1. Interested candidates must have completed undergraduate in a relevant stream and have passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
2. Passed undergraduate in a relevant stream with a minimum of 50% marks and have completed or pursued 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
3. Graduate in an appropriate stream with at least 45% and have completed or pursuing 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
4. Passed in the senior secondary examination or any equivalent along with at least 50% marks and have completed or pursued the final semester of the 4- year B.El.Ed.
5. Candidates must have passed in senior secondary or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks and have completed or appeared in the last year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
6. Completed graduation in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks and have passed or appeared in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

HTET Educational Qualification for Post Graduate Teacher (Level 3)

Candidates must have to meet any one of the following eligibility criteria to apply for the HTET Level 3 exam:

1. Candidates must have completed their post graduation on a relevant subject with 50% or above marks.

HTET Selection Process 2022:-

The gross salary of the candidate working as a Primary Teacher is Rs. 35400 -112400/- per month whereas the salary of a TGT teaching faculty is Rs. 47600-151100. The candidates who are appointed as PGT Teachers will receive a gross salary of Rs. 44900-142400 per month.
