Applications are invited from Indian Citizens and such other nationals as declared eligible by the Government of India for recruitment to ASSISTANT PROFESSOR posts at “COLLEGE OF MEDICINE & J.N.M HOSPITAL, KALYANI, NADIA, WEST BENGAL, PIN-741235” under The West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata. Age Limit:– For Assistant Professor – Age as on 01.09.2020 should be less than 50 years
Scale of Pay:-
The following scale of pay & rate of NPP are interim in nature; likely to be modified as per ROPA 2019 after getting necessary order from competent authority. NPP may be changed to NPA as per ROPA 2019.
Assistant Professor: Rs. 9,000–Rs. 40,500 with higher initial of Rs. 18,600 + Grade Pay Rs. 7,000 (Unrevised pay)
Allowances:-
House Rent Allowances, Medical Allowance & Other allowances shall be admissible as per existing Government Rules.
Rate of N.P.P.:-
Assistant Professor – 25% of (Basic Pay & Grade Pay) + Rs. 8,000 per month.

General Conditions:-
- The candidate should send scanned copy of all relevant documents viz. Date of Birth, Qualifications, Experience, Publications, etc. along with filled up pro-forma (given in annexure I) & proof of online transaction of fees in the email id: recruitment@wbuhs.ac.in within 6th October 2020, 5pm. Applications received after the closing date shall be rejected. Application not duly filled in or found incomplete or defective in any respect or without fee will be liable to rejection. Applicants do not need to send any print out/ hard copy.
- Any attempt on the part of candidate to enlist support for his/her application through persons, officials of Government, or agencies will disqualify him/her for appointment.

- Candidates belonging to SC/ST and persons with disabilities specified under Disabilities Rule, 1999 (certificates obtained before the Advertisement date) are not required to pay any fee.
- No claim for refund of the fee shall be entertained nor will it be held in reserved for any other interview. No TA /DA are given if called for Interview.
- Employees of Government / Semi Government/ Private should inform their employer before appearing in the Interview. A copy of No Objection Certificate from employer must be scanned & emailed along with other documents. It is to be mentioned in NOC that candidate will be released if selected after serving requisite notice period if any.
- A candidate claiming to be S.C. /S.T. must have a certificate in support of his/her claim from a competent authority.
- OBC candidate of West Bengal should submit valid ‘Non creamy layer’ certificate issued after 01.01.2020.
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD) [40% and above] must have a certificate from an appropriate Medical Board.
- No claim for being a Member of the SC, ST and OBC or a Person with Disability will be entertained after submission of the application.
- Candidate, if selected, have to join in the said post within 01 (one) month from date of issuance of date of appointment, after verification of all original documents at WBUHS.
- The post is full time. Nature of appointment is regular; confirmation of service will be made after satisfactory completion of one year of probationary period.
- Three months notice needs to be served from either side before termination of service.
- The Medical Teachers after being employed in College of Medicine and JNM Hospital, Kalyani, may exercise options for engaging in private practice on analogous terms and conditions.
