Shree Saptashrungi Ayurved, Mahavidyalay and Hospital announced Job notification to hire candidates for the position of Principal, Professor, Associate Professor & Assistant Professor.

NOTES:-

  • All Posts : The candidate should be registered under the M.M.P. Act. 1961 or I.M.M.C. Act. 1970 before joining the post unless they have already so registered.
  • One Yoga teacher in the Department of Swasthavritta on part time basis.
  • One Bio-statistician to teach Research Methodology and Medical-statistics on part time basis.

Qualifications and Experience for Teaching Staff for UG Teachers:

Essential qualification-

  • A Bachelor degree in Ayurveda from a University or its equivalent as recognised under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970; and
  • A Post-graduate qualification in the subject or specialty concerned included in the schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.

Experience –

  • For the Post of Professor: Ten years teaching experience in concerned subject or five years teaching experience as Associate Professor (Reader) in concerned subject or ten years research experience in regular service in Research Councils of Central Government or State Government or Union territory or University or National Institutions with minimum five papers published in a recognised journal.
  • For the Post of Reader or Associate Professor: Five years teaching experience in concerned subject or five years research experience in regular service in Research Councils of Central Government or State Government or Union territory or University or National Institutions with minimum three papers published in a recognised journal.
  • For the Post of Assistant Professor or Lecturer: The age shall not exceed forty-five years at the time of first appointment and it may be relaxed for in-service candidates as per the existing rules.

Note: Priority shall be given to the candidates having Doctoral in Ayurveda.

Qualifications and Experience for Teaching Staff for PG Teachers:

Essential qualification-

  • A Bachelor degree in Ayurveda from a University as recognised under the Act;
  • a Post-graduate degree in the subject or specialty concerned included in the Schedules to the Act.

Experience –

For the post of Professor : Total teaching experience of ten years in concerned subject or five years teaching experience as Associate Professor (Reader) in concerned subject or total ten years research experience in regular service in Research Councils of Central Government or State Government or Union territory or University or National Institutions with not less than five papers published in a recognised journal.

For the post of Reader or Associate Professor : Teaching experience of five years in concerned subject or total five years research experience in regular service in Research Councils of Central Government or State Government or Union territory or University or National Institutions with not less than three papers published in a recognised journal.

For the post of Assistant Professor or Lecturer : at the time of first appointment, the age shall not exceed forty-five years and no teaching or research experience is required.

Qualification and experience for the Post of Head of Institution : The qualification and experience for the post of Head of the Institution (Principal or Dean or Director) shall be the same qualification and experience prescribed for the post of Professor.

GENERAL NOTES:-

  • Horizontal Reservation for Ladies /sports etc as per the state government circular /regulations and the Persons with Disabilities Reservation as per the government regulations /circular issued from time to time. (Ref: Government letter GAD/1118/CR417/16 dated 28/12/2018, for handicapped GR dated 27/04/2011, 04/08/2011, 28/07/2014, and MEDD letter dated 30/06/2015.) The vertical reservation allotment vide Government Resolution and circular dated 29/05/2017, 25/07/2018, 05/12/2018, 19/12/2018, 07/01/2019, 12/02/2019, 16/02/2019, 18/02/2019, 04/07/2019, 05/03/2020 etc.
  • Candidates applying for reserve category post(s) should submit caste certificate & caste validity certificate and also recent non-creamy layer certificate, wherever applicable.
  • The benefits of reservation shall be admissible to the backward class / category candidates who are domiciled in the state of Maharashtra only.
  • Age Limit & Educational Qualifications shall be considered up-to last date of the application & experience shall be considered up-to earlier day of the interview.
  • The decision taken by MUHS authorities regarding essential qualifications and experience shall be applicable, from time to time.
  • Application along-with attested copies of all relevant Certificates must reach to the college on or before : 30/09/2020. ( Exact date is to be specified) (Minimum 14 days (as per Direction No. 01/2017) from the date of publication of advertisement in newspaper.)
