Job Description

Registrar – 

  • Serve as the primary institutional manager of student-record information, with responsibility for providing data and analysis to academic and administrative offices concerned with educational policy, curricula, academic performance, and strategic planning, while ensuring the integrity of academic records.
  • Direct the effective service to students and faculty as it pertains to registration, and grade-recording, ensuring sufficient numbers of and training for staff.
  • Coordinate updates and modifications to the student information system related to registration, advisement, academic records, and course entry.
  • Receive, review, and determine academic petition, transfer credit and advanced standing requests, in accordance with faculty policy and in consultation with the Deans and/or Provost, as appropriate.
  • Work with directors and staff concerned with enrollment management, financial aid, student admissions, retention, and student services, to coordinate services, activities, and projects.

Chief Financial Officer –

  • Drive the company’s financial planning
  • Perform risk management by analysing the organization’s liabilities and investments
  • Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
  • Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure

The Controller of Examinations in the execution of his/her office shall report to the higher authority periodically on the performance of his/her duties. The Controller of Examination should take earnest efforts to see that all examinations are conducted as per the scheduled academic calendar by the university.

  • Lead the research teams at the University to consolidate current and emerging research programmes; Support the Vice-Chancellor in identifying and developing research and development portfolio relevant to the mandate of the University; Support various research teams at the University to identify research and development opportunities as well as sources of finances to undertake actions; Develop sound technology deployment platform for the University on transdisciplinary issues of interest; Support the academic programmes with inputs related to research and design of academic programmes; Lead fundraising efforts to further strengthen the research, development and technology programmes at the University; Lead development of course(s) relevant to using the experience and expertise available with the University; and Lead efforts to develop appropriate communication and outreach material related to research, development and technological interventions related to University activities.

Deputy Registrar –

  • The Deputy Registrar is a senior staff member of the administrative team in the University. The Deputy Registrar will be responsible for the daily internal administration of the University and provision of prompt and accurate service to students, alumni, faculty, administration and external agencies. When the office of the Registrar is vacant or when the Registrar is absent by reason of illness or any other reason, the duties and functions of the Registrar shall be performed by the Deputy Registrar.

Law Officer –

  • Legal advisor/Law Officer is responsible for creating new documents and reviewing the existing contracts of their clients. They must be familiar about the terms and conditions of different contracts. Legal advisor jobs include drafting basic legal documents for projects.

KRA (Key Responsible Areas)

  • Oversee the entire process related to the Centre that involves seeking applications for the potential start-ups, screening and evaluation of qualified applications, working with the Internal and External committees to provide funding to students POC/Prototype/IPR.
  • Promote, identify and evaluate incubatees for creativity, innovation, acceleration and investment.
  • Managing the screening process, follow-up emails, coordinate due-diligence process, coordinate communication and negotiations with start-ups, faculty anchors etc.
  • Liaison among various stakeholders
  • Design & manage Incubation and Acceleration programs/workshops to provide high-quality coaching and advisory support to entrepreneurs
  • Manage day-to-day interaction with Incubatees and undertake documentation work.
  • Develop, manage and run periodic events such as hackathons and business pitching contests. Also, events such as master class and chat programs.
  • Network and bring in potential mentors and resources to the incubator
  • Connect with the Start-up Ecosystem consisting of Angels, VC’s and entrepreneurs.
  • Guide & support start-ups for fundraising activity
  • Participate in day-to-day operations in the centre
  • Evaluate, seek and realise potential funding sources through program revenue, grants, donors, etc.
