Qualification Details:-
Applications in prescribed format are invited from the citizens of India for filling up of the posts of Assistant Professors at North Eastern Regional institute of Science & Technology, Nirjuli-791109 (ltanagar), Arunachal Pradesh.

3. a) Engineering / Technology (As per AICTE regulation 1 March, 2019) :B.E./B.Tech./B.S.and M.E. /M. Tech / M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. b) For Science and Humanities Group: i.) A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned / relevant / allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candi date must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure or Award of M. Phil/ Ph.D. Degree)
b. Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/ SLET/SET. Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be goverened by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/ Bye-laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.

General Conditions/Instructions:-
1. Filled in applications only in prescribed format received through email followed by signed hardcopy by post will be entertained;
2. Incomplete applications and/or applications received after the due date shall summarily be rejected and. no further correspondence in this matter shall be entertained; Vacancies are tentative and may increase or decrease;
3. The pay level carry other allowances admissible as per Government of India rules; Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all of the vacancies advertised;
4. Applications received in response to the advertisement will be scrutinized; and short-listed candidates on the basis of written examination only will be called for interview. Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility criteria laid down in the advertisement does not entitle automatically a candidate to be called for interview.
5. The decision of the Institute Authority for short-listing of candidates shall be final and binding;
6. The candidate should bring original certificates at the time of interview for verification;
7. Depending on availability of qualified candidates, different departments may set different short-listing criteria;
8. No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview;
9. Persons employed in Govt./Semi-Govt./PSUs/ Autonomous Institutions should submit their applications through proper channel;

12. The Demand Draft should not be drawn before the date of issue of this advertisement and after the closing date, i.e., 10.05.2022 for receipt of application and also should have validity at least for three months.
