Educational Qualifications Work Experience and Pay Band:
Ph.D. in appropriate discipline with First Class in the preceding degree or equivalent degree from a recognized University/ Institute. Post-Graduation and Graduation with First class.

Important Instructions:
- The pay carries all other allowances as admissible to a Central Government employee stationed at Nagpur.
- The benefits, such as LTC, Group Mediclaim policy, transport allowance, children education allowance, contribution towards New Pension Scheme (NPS), Faculty Development Allowance and Conference Funding.
- Higher initial pay is admissible to exceptionally qualified and deserving candidates.
- Mere eligibility will not entitle a candidate for being called for interview.
- Applicants who do not fulfil the minimum experience requirements may be offered an appointment on contract. The requirements of minimum qualification and/or experience may be relaxed in the case of candidates with outstanding credentials.
- The Institute follows the Reservation Policy as per Govt. of India rules. Therefore, candidates applying under SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), OBC (Other Backward Classes), EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) or PwD (Persons with Disability) category are required to select the relevant category while applying in the Recruitment Portal and will also be required to submit relevant certificate in support of their claim for the category in the event of their shortlisting / selection.
- Reservation at entry level will be applicable as per G.O.I. norms. The candidates are required to submit the Caste/ Category/ Disabilities Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the format prescribed by the Government of India for this purpose.
- All qualifications must be from UGC recognized University/ Deemed University or AICTE approved autonomous institution (wherever applicable). Courses offered by Autonomous Institutions should be equivalent to the relevant course approved/ recognized by Association of Indian University (AIU).
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Seminar and Interview as per recommendations of the Screening Committee constituted for the purpose. The decision of the Screening Committee is final.
- The Selection Committee may recommend candidates for appointment in different positions other than the actual position applied by the candidate either on regular basis with probation period of 2 years or on contract basis for a period of 1 or 2 years depending on the academic credentials.
- The Institute reserves the right to fill or not to fill any or all the posts.

- Applicants called for and appearing in interview will be paid to and fro economy air fare/train fare by the shortest route (within India) and taxi fare from Nagpur airport to IIMN and back. Please note that the amount of fare shall be remitted through electronic transfer by our Accounts Section after processing the claim. Local hospitality will be taken care of by the Institute.
- Applicants are also requested to bring with them all the certificates, testimonials and other relevant documents at the time of interview.
- Applicants who are employed in Government, Semi-Government Organizations or Institutions should send their applications THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL. Else, they will be required to produce a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from their employer at the time of interview.
Selection Procedure:-
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Seminar and Interview as per recommendations of the Screening Committee constituted for the purpose. The decision of the Screening Committee is final.
- No information will be sent to those candidates who are not shortlisted for interview. It is expected that the entire selection process will be over within six months of the issue of the advertisement.
