All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Deoghar an Autonomous Institute of National Importance is one of the new AIIMS and apex healthcare Institute established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMS SY) under Act of Parliament with the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country and attaining self-sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate Medical education and training.

General Conditions:-
a) Maximum age limit for applying for the aforesaid posts on deputation is 56 years as on last date of receipt of application. Incomplete applications or applications received after the last date are liable to be rejected.
b) The period of deputation shall be 5 years.
c) The post carry usual allowance as admissible to central Government Employees of similar status stationed at Deoghar (Jharkhand).
d) The Officers, who fulfil the above qualifications/ Eligibility, may submit their application through proper channel in prescribed Performa as per Annexure-1 and Annexure-2 attached with this Advertisement to the Recruitment Cell, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna, Phulwasharif, Patna-801507 by Speed post/Registered post only.
e) The envelope containing the application(s) should be super-scribed “Application for the Post of ” While forwarding the applications, it may be ensured that the particulars of the candidates are verified and they fulfil the eligibility conditions.
f) Duly attested photocopies of their up to date of qualification, experience certificates, promotion/up gradation orders and Confidential Reports (at least for the latest 05 years) may be enclosed with the applications. Applicants may send one advance copy of application. However only application through proper channel will be considered. It may also be clearly stated that no vigilance/ disciplinary proceedings are pending or contemplated against the candidates concerned. g) The deputation will be governed by the standard terms and conditions of deputation provided under Department of Personnel and Training’s O.M No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended from time to time.
Important Notes:-
i. The candidate must possess a valid document certifying his/her physical disability is conforming to judgment of Supreme Court of India i.e.: “With the approval of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India vide letter no.18018/2/2009-ME(P-l) dated 17.02.2009 it has been decided that while providing reservation in admission to medical course in the first instance candidates with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% shall be considered and in case candidates are not available of such candidates in that category then the candidates with disability of lower limbs between 40% to 50% will also be
considered for admission as per decision in the Supreme Court of India. Only such person would be eligible for reservation under PWD quota in service/post who suffer from not less than 40% of disability as identified for that post as per Govt. of India instruction.
ii. The disability certificate as notified by Government should be signed by a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board of the State or Central Govt. Hospitals/Institutions & countersigned by Medical Superintendent.
iii. The constitution of the Medical Board will be one consultant each from disciplines of Orthopaedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Surgery.
iv. OPH candidates who apply will be considered against seats in category in which he/she has applied i.e. GEN/SC/ST or OBC. Last seat/s in the respective category will be offered to OPH candidates, (in case OPH candidate is not able to make on his/her their own merit)
v. There shall be 4% horizontal reservation for person with disabilities as per Govt. oflndia rules. Person who wants to avail the benefit of reservation will have to submit a Disability Certificate issued by a competent authority in prescribed format.
vi. Clearances: Appointments are subject to clearances as for equivalent posts in Government· of India. Qualifications and Experience: The qualification and experience will be counted as on last date of submission of application.
vii. Short Listing: The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection. Based on bio-data, the Screening Committee may short-list candidates for interview. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents furnished at the time of application. They have to submit an affidavit signed by Judicial Magistrate/ Notary at the time of interview.
viii. Interview: Details of the interview will be communicated through registered e-mail provided at the time of registration. Interviews will be conducted in a phased manner as per requirement of the Institute. No T AIDA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
