Applications are invited from eligible candidates for selection as Assistant Professor (contract) in the following departments at Regional Agricultural Research Station, Pilicode.

Applicants should have Masters Degree in the concerned discipline with NET qualification. In the absence of candidates with NET, candidates having M.Sc. Degree in the concerned discipline will be considered. Candidates with PhD and Research/Teaching experiences are more preferred.
Documents Required:-
1. Application form in the attached MS word format, with self-attested copies of certificates & photograph affixed
2. Photo ID card of the candidate
3. Originals of all the relevant documents as listed below:
i. Certificate to prove date of birth
ii. 10th /SSLC mark list
iii. Higher secondary mark list
iv. Degree certificate
v. Degree mark list
vi. Post graduate degree certificate
vii. Post graduate degree mark list
viii. NET Qualifying certificate
ix. Certificates of additional qualifications such as PhD etc., if any
x. Certificate of experience in related field, if any
xi. Scientific publications, other trainings & certifications in the field, if any.
Terms and Conditions:
i The appointment will be purely provisional for a period of one year or till the appointment of regular hands, whichever comes earlier
ii The candidate will have no claim in the University other than to receive the consolidated remuneration attached to the post. The appointment will not confer on him/her any right of permanency or regularisation in KAU.
iii Age: Maximum age should not be above 40 years as on 01.01.2021. Age relaxation as per existing Government rules will be granted to eligible candidates.
iv No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.
v An agreement in the prescribed form will have to be executed by the candidate in Stamp paper worth Rs. 200/-, if selected for appointment.
vi The candidate, if selected will discharge all such duties that are attached to the post as per KAU Act/Statutes/Regulation & Rules and that may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the Head of Institution/Departments.
vii The University has the right to terminate the service of temporary appointment if the performance is found unsatisfactory or any malpractice/misbehaviors noticed, later.
Selection Procedure:-
The date of Walk-in-interview will be informed to the candidates through e-mail only. If there are more number of applicants a written test will be conducted and candidates shortlisted.
