Qualification Details:-

Applications are invited in the prescribed form for the following teaching Posts to be filled in the Self Supporting Departments conducted from University funds (on Self supporting basis) as per provisions of Section 102 of Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016.

TEACHING ADVERTISEMENT NO. 19/2022

2. No of Post : 04

3. Qualification : A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (Or as equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grade system is followed in the subject Applied/Physical/Organic/Inorganic/Analytical/Industrial Chemistry from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

The Ph.D Degree in concerned subject from recognized University is mandatory. A Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be, Provided that the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances / Bye-laws / Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:

a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in regular mode only;

b) The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two examiners;

c) An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted;

d) The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal; and

e) The candidate has presented at least two papers, based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars, sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency

f) Ph.D Degree is mandatory as per the UGC & Government of Maharashtra Notification dated : 8th March, 2019 however, relaxation may be applicable in Ph.D. if U.G.C/Government of Maharashtra notifies so.

4. Pay Scales : Assistant ProfessorThe pay scale for the post of Assistant Professor will be as per UGC & Government of Maharashtra in the Academic Level- 10

Application Fees:-

The prescribed online application forms are available on the university website www.unishivaji.ac.in under the tab “ Recruitment at University ” which have to fill online and printed on A4 size papers, in 06 copies with necessary attested documents and Receipt of Online Payment of Rs.500/- for open post and Rs.150/- for reserved post should accompany the application form

General instruction:-

1. Employed candidates must submit their applications through proper channel.

2. The Roman figure in the parenthesis after the category indicated the number of times the post has been advertised.

3. Candidates, who wish to appear for more than one post, should submit separate application for each post.

4. “Appendix II, Table- 2” The Standard format of Calculating Academic/Research Score is provided on the website. All details therein should filled properly along with relevant proof to be mandatory to submitted along with the printout of application form.

5. Candidates belonging to reserved category outside the State of Maharashtra will be treated as OPEN as per G.R. No.CBC-1084/54577/(1813)/BCW-5, dtd.1/11/1985 & Govt. Circular No. CBC- 1688/(2829)/MAVAK-5, dtd.29/7/1988.

6. Reserved candidates shall produce the Caste Validity Certificate as per the directives issued by the state Government vide Circular No. BCC-2011/ iz-Ø-1064/2011/16-c dated 12/12/2011.

7. The candidate must submit declaration in prescribed Form – A, along with the application form as per rule 4 of having small family as per the directives issued by Government of Maharashtra. Form – A is available with the application form

8. University reserves the rights to fill or not to fill any or all posts advertised.

9. The prescribed online application forms are available on the university website www.unishivaji.ac.in under the tab “ Recruitment at University ” which have to fill online and printed on A4 size papers, in 06 copies with necessary attested documents and Receipt of Online Payment of Rs.500/- for open post and Rs.150/- for reserved post should accompany the application form. Application form other than online form and forms without Cash Receipt of Online payment will not be considered for further process of recruitment.

10.Final printout of online application form alongwith the attested copies of relevant documents enclosed to each copy of the application should be sent to the Registrar, Shivaji University, Vidyanagar, Kolhapur – 416 004 so as to reach on or before 04/04/2022 Envelop containing duly filled application form should be superscript.

11. Applications received after the last date will not be considered. The University will not be responsible for postal delay, if any.

12. All updates, corrigendum if any instructions regarding this recruitment will be updated on Shivaji University website from time to time. 3.Incomplete application or application on plain paper or Xerox copies of prescribed application form will not be entertained. Forms other than online procedure or forms without Cash Receipt of online payment will not be considered for further process of recruitment

2. Last date for submission of final printout of application form is 04/04/2022 up to 6.00 p.m. in the University office.
