Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University announced job notification for the post of Assistant Professor/Professor  has been released officially. The University invites applications, on the prescribed format, to fill up the following Teaching Posts on Contract basis (under Ordinance-14 of GGSIPU Act) for Master Of Planning (Urban & Regional Planning) In University School Of Architecture & Planning (USAP) for a period of one year.

Qualifications and Experience:-

For Assistant Professor Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Planning/ Civil Engineering or Master’s Degree in Geography/ Economics / Sociology or Equivalent  AND  Master of Planning or equivalent with First Class or equivalent in either in Master of Planning or any above degrees with 2 years of relevant experience

For Professor:-

  1. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
  2. AND b. Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching research/ industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor. AND
  3. At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals UGC AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor/ date of eligibility of promotion. Co-supervisor till the OR At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion

Any consequential vacancies arising at the time of Interview may also be filled up from the available candidates.

    5. The educational qualification(s), experience and other conditions of eligibility as stipulated above against the post shall be determined as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
