Qualification Details:-
IIM Raipur invites applications from eligible candidates from SC/ST/NC-OBC/EWS/PwD Category for recruitment of faculty positions (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor etc.) under Special Recruitment Drive in the following areas of Management:
1. Name of the Post: Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor
2. Compensation: The details of pay and the total minimum emoluments admissible at the time of joining are as follows:
a) Professor – Level: 14A: Rs. 1,59,100 – 2,20,200 with Entry Pay of Rs. 1,59,100
b) Associate Professor – Level: 13A2: Rs. 1,39,600- 2,11,300 with Entry Pay of Rs. 1,39,600
c) Assistant Professor (Grade – I) – Level: 12: Rs. 1,01,500 – 1,67,400 with Entry Pay of Rs. 1,01,500
d) Assistant Professor (Grade – II) – Level: 11: Rs. 68,900 – Rs. 1,17,200 Rs. 89,900 (Minimum Basic)
3. Eligible criteria for applying for the position are as follows: Candidates should have a demonstrated ability to make relevant intellectual contribution to experienced and potential managers through teaching, training, research and published work. Candidates should have a strong academic background and understanding of current developments in the related field. Faculty members are expected to carry out research, design and teach courses, engage in institution development and conduct training program and consultancy.
a) Minimum Qualification (for all faculty positions): Ph.D. in appropriate branch with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree, with a very good academic record throughout. In addition, for:
b) Professor: Minimum 10 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution/institutions of comparable standards.
c) Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
d) Assistant Professor Grade – I: Minimum three years of teaching/research/industrial experience (excluding period of doing Ph.D.). A fresh Ph.D. may be considered for the position on contract basis.
e) Assistant Professor Grade – II Fresh Ph. D. in the appropriate branch. The candidate who has given the viva voce with the provisional award of Ph.D. may also apply. Candidates with publication in Quality Journals as mentioned above will be preferred.
Note:-
- The Institute follows the Reservation Policy as per Govt. of India rules. Therefore, interested candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria applying under SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), NC-OBC (Non-Creamy Layer Other Backward Classes), EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) or PwD (Persons with Disability) category are required to submit relevant certificate in support of their claim for the category in the prescribed certificate of Government of India.
- OBC (Non-creamy layer) and EWS candidates are required to submit a certificate in GoI prescribed format duly issued on or after 01.04.2021 by the competent authority. To avoid delay in submission of applications, NC-OBC and EWS candidates are allowed to apply with their NC-OBC certificate issued on or after 01.04.2020. Such candidates shall be required to produce the updated NC-OBC Certificate at the time of interview.
- The candidates are required to submit the valid Caste/ Category/ EWS / Disabilities Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the format prescribed by the Government of India for this purpose.
- Applicants who are employed in Government, Semi-Government Organizations or Institutions should send their applications Through Proper Channel. Else, they will be required to produce a NO Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of interview.
- Applications will be accepted only in the prescribed format. No other mode of application will be accepted.
- Vny modifications made to the prescribed application form will not be considered. But, you can insert row(s) as appropriate in various sections
- Applications with incomplete information or with information not provided in the required prescribed format will not be processed.

- Copies of the publications in reputed peer reviewed journals should be sent with the application.
- Candidates called for interview to fill a vacancy, may be considered for lower / upper post if they are otherwise found suitable.
- For regular appointment, there would be a probation period of 2 years.
