On 12.05.2021, Dr B R Ambedkar University Delhi announced job notification for the post of Associate Professor has been released officially. Any Masters Degree, M.Phil/Ph.D pass Can apply for this job openings. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria alone can apply on the official website aud.ac.in. The application process ends on 25.05.2021.

The University invites online applications from eligible candidates for faculty positions (Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor) on regular basis in the following disciplines:

4. Essential Qualifications and Experience:

a. Vocational Studies

i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.

ii) A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peerreviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in of the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018

b. Law, Governance and Citizenship:

i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.

ii) A Master‘s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in of the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018

c. Urban Studies:

i) A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.

ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).

iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peerreviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five (75) as per the criteria given in Appendix II, Table 2 of the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018.

d. Design:

a.Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch AND b. At least total 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals. AND c. Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 2 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience

5. Direct recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in the University shall be on the basis of merit through all India advertisement and selections on the recommendations of the duly constituted Selection Committees. The recruitment shall be made in accordance with the “UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018” and Regulations of NCTE for Teacher Education and AICTE for Management and Design.

6. In accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2018, as amended from time to time along with AUD Acts, Statues and ordinances, including amendments made thereafter, applicants applying for the post of Assistant Professor must submit a certificate in the prescribed format as per from the concerned University to the effect that their Ph.D. degree is in compliance with relevant UGC Regulations for award of Ph.D. degree.

7. Applicants should possess the prescribed qualifications, experience and eligibility criteria as on the closing date of application, as prescribed by the UGC/AICTE/NCTE University from time to time for the respective posts. All the above posts carry UGC pay scales plus admissible allowances. Applicants are required to produce specific certificates as per eligibility conditions

8. All appointments shall be made provisionally subject to verification of certificates.

9. The University shall verify the documents and antecedents of the applicant at the time of interview/joining or at any stage during the period of service.

10. In case, it is found at any point of time that any document / information submitted by the applicant is false or the applicant has suppressed/concealed any relevant information, the services of the selected applicant shall be terminated forthwith without assigning any reason.

11. The University may also initiate appropriate action under the provisions of Indian Panel Code, 1860 for production of false information.

12. Before applying for a post, applicants are advised to go through the relevant UGC Regulation, 2018/NCTE Regulations/AICTE Regulations, as well as contents of the advertisement carefully and satisfy themselves about their eligibility. No enquiry in this regard will be entertained.

13. Reservation for the SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwBD/EWS applicants will be as per the UGC/ Government of NCT of Delhi policies/guidelines/instructions. Applicants seeking reservation benefits available for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwBD/EWS categories must upload the necessary documents justifying the claim of respective reservation as per UGC/Govt. of India/ Govt. of NCT of Delhi lists/rules/norms. 15. Applicants serving in Government/Public Sector Undertakings (including Boards/Autonomous Bodies) are required to submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ on the prescribed proforma from the employer, at the time of interview, if not uploaded with the online application earlier.

Selection Procedure :

1. The Academic score as specified of the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education, 2018 for Universities shall be considered for short-listing of the candidates for interview only, and the selections shall be based only on the performance in the interview

2. After taking into consideration the grievances, the scrutiny/screening committee will arrive at the final list of eligible candidates. On the basis of academic records, publications, experience and Research Score etc. as decided by the University, a final list of shortlisted candidates will be notified and they will be called for interview. Candidates residing outside India will be interviewed through Skype (or any other Video Conferencing mode) if request is made in advance

3. The dates of interviews will be notified on the University website and the same will be communicated through email (as provided in the application form) to the shortlisted candidates. Any change of correspondence address/ email/ phone from the one given in the application form should at once be communicated to the University.

How to Apply :

1. This is for the information of all concerned that the last date to apply online for Teaching and Non-Teaching positions as referred above has further been extended up to 25.05.2021 (up to 23:59 hrs), and the last date of receiving hard copies of the application form has been extended up to 31.05.2021(up to 17:30 hrs).

2. Candidates who have already applied online, but could not send the hard copies of the application due to unprecedented situation occurred due to Covid-19 pandemic, may also send the hard copies of their application latest by 31.05.2021(up to 17:30 hrs).
