Qualification Details:

Name of Post: Associate Professor (Dairy faculty) (Dairy Technology / Dairy Engineering / Dairy Microbiology / Dairy Chemistry / Dairy Business Management)

1. Pay Band: 15600-39100 with AGP 8000.

2. Qualifications:

(i) Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ relevant disciplines.

(ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/ policy papers.

(iv) A minimum of five years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research / extension position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution excluding the period of Ph.D., research with evidence of published work and a minimum of five publication as books and / or research, policy papers.

(v) For consideration of experience of Assistant Professor and its equivalent the experience of Agriculture Officer/ Veterinary Officer / Senior Research Assistant and its equivalent shall be considered for maximum three years in following manner.

(a) Experience of employee as Agriculture Officer / Veterinary Officer / Senior Research Assistant after master degree be multiplied with factor of 0.6.

(b) Experience of employee as Agriculture Officer / Veterinary Officer /Senior Research Assistant after Ph.D. degree be multiplied with factor of 0.8.

 

Name of Post: Associate Professor (Veterinary faculty) (Veterinary Pathology)

1. Pay Band: 15600-39100 with AGP 8000.

2. Qualifications:

(i) Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ relevant disciplines.

(ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/ policy papers.

(iv) A minimum of five years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic / research / extension position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution excluding the period of Ph.D., research with evidence of published work and a minimum of five publication as books and / or research, policy papers.

(iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/ research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.

Processing fee for General candidate is Rs.1000/- and for candidates belonging to Gujarat State reserved categories i.e., SC/ST/SEBC/PH/EWS is Rs. 250/-. (Exemption for Ex. Soldier Army, Navy and Air force). The Fees is non-refundable in any case.

General Information and Instructions

1. The fees should be paid by demand Draft only and demand draft should be drawn after publication of advertisement and before last date for final submission (Cash/Cheque/Multicity Cheque will not be accepted), Drawn in favour of ”KAMDHENU UNIVERSITY FUND ACCOUNT” and payable at Gandhinagar (Gujarat). The Fees is non-refundable in any case. The application form should be downloaded from website http://www.kamdhenuuni.edu.in

2. The candidates belonging to reserved category can apply against vacancies for unreserved category and the criteria will be applicable as per unreserved category (Except application fee).

3. In case of non-availability of women candidate in the respective category (If woman reserved posts are available), the reserved post will be allotted to male candidates belonging to the same category.

4. Before filling / submitting the application form, candidates are advised to go through the qualifications prescribed for the post (enclosed) and make sure that you possess the same. Any request or representation to correct any error or omission in the submitted application or information filled in by the candidate shall not be accepted.

How to Apply :

1. The application should be complete in all respects i.e. it should be

(i) Filled in completely.

(ii) Supported with self-attested copies of all academic, experience certificates, caste (if required) and other certificates.

(iii) Routed through proper channel (in case of persons already employed in Government / semi Govt. / University or any organisation).

2. Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate applications for each post, along with separate processing fees. Envelope containing the application should be subscribed as “Application for the Post of _____________________ (Discipline:__________________)”

3. Documentary proof in support of previous experience and academic qualifications indicated in the application must be sent along with the application, failing which shall mean to believe that candidate does not possess the requisite experience and qualifications mentioned therein and such incomplete applications will be rejected. For teaching posts, Academic Performance Index (API) form must be filled in (API form is applicable to the candidates who are applying for the post of Associate Director of Research and Associate Professor only).

4. The candidate should possess the basic knowledge of computer application and should have passed CCC+ examination; if not, he / she will have to pass the same during the probation period, failing which his probation period will not be regularized.

5. The duly filled in summary form in ten copies shall be submitted along with the application form. The information asked for under the different columns should be brief and to the point.

6. With reference to the publications, please give detailed list of titles of papers on separate sheet (if required). Please note that the titles of the publications are not to be lumped together but classified as original research papers, text books, reports, bulletin, conference or seminar papers, extension literature, etc under separate heads. Kindly enlist the published or printed papers. One may give reference of the papers which have already been accepted for publication by a Journal, with proof of the same.

7. To avoid delay in the receipt of application through proper channel the candidates are advised to submit an advance copy of their application (complete in all respects) before the last date of submission. However, the application through proper channel must reach on or before Dt. 08/11/2021 during office hours only. Applications Received After Said Date Through Proper Channel Shall Not Be Considered.

8. In case of SC/ST/SEBC/PH/EWS candidate, valid certificate issued by competent authority of Gujarat State, a self-attested copy of the same shall be enclosed.

9. Socially & Educationally Backward Class (SEBC) candidates applying for the SEBC category in the above mentioned posts shall submit Non-Creamy layer certificate valid on dt. 21/10/2021. The SEBC candidates who have submitted such certificate shall be given relaxation in the upper age limit as mentioned below, otherwise they may be considered as general candidate. In such case, the benefits of upper age limit, exemption in examination fees and selection in reserved category will not be given.

10. The Date of determining the eligibility in respect of age, educational qualification, experience etc. will be 21/10/2021
