Qualification Details:-
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment of Professor on temporarily (consolidated pay basis) less than a year to the Department of Education (SDE), Bharathiar University, Coimbatore – 641 046.
1. Name of the Post: Professor
2. Pay For The Post: Consolidated Pay per month : Rs. 50,000/-
3. Essential Qualifications/norms:
a) A Master’s Degree in Arts/Humanities/Sciences/Commerce and M.Ed. each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). OR
b) M.A. (Education) with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in point scale wherever grading system is followed) and B.Ed. each with minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed);
c) Ph.D. in Education ; and
d) At least ten years of teaching experience in University Department of education or college of education of which a minimum of five years at the M.Ed. level with published work in the relevant area of his specialization

1. The Syndicate reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up the posts without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

4. Candidates sending the application by post/speed post/courier should see that the application reaches this University on the last date prescribed. Applications received after the last date will be summarily rejected.
5. Since the selection of candidates are based purely on merit, attempts to canvass or bring influence on the authorities to show favour during selection will be deemed as disqualification.
6. The candidates should produce Service and No Objection Certificate obtained from the employer at the time of interview, if employed.
