Applications in the prescribed format are invited for recruitment to the posts of Professor and Associate Professor on the pay of Academic Level-14 & Academic Level-13A, respectively as per 7th pay commission in the University.

4. Essential Qualifications for the post of Associate Professor:
i. A good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline.
ii. A minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/ research /extension education as Assistant Professor or equivalent position in the minimum pay of Academic Level-10 or pay band-3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6000/-, Rs. 7000/- and Rs. 8000/- in a University/ College or
iii. Accredited National Institution or in equivalent positions in International Research Institution (excluding the period spent in Ph.D. research subject to a maximum of 3 years) with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as research /policy papers/books.
iv. Contribution to educational/ research/extension innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology — mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates at doctoral and master level.
v. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Perfonnance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in University.
vi. Ph.D. degree with first class degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology with eight years experience in Teaching, Research and/or Industry at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade excluding the period spent on obtaining the research degree.
(i) First class degree at Master’s level in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology.
(ii) Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D degree in appropriate branch of Engineering and technology and industrial/ professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Assistant professor, provided that the recognition for significant professional shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a 3 member committee of experts appointed by the vice chancellor of the university.
(iii) Without prejudice to the above the following conditions may be considered desirable:
a. Teaching, research, industrial and or professional experience in a reputed organization;
b. Published work, such as research papers, patents filed/obtained, books and or technical reports;
c. Experience of guiding the project work/dissertation of PG/Research Students or supervising R& D projects in industry.
vii. A minimum score as stipulated in API based PBAS set out by the University.

1. The application form in MS Word fomat and the Score Card should be downloaded from the University Website (www.aujodhpur.ac.in) and only the typed copy of the application form (in Times New Romans script and font size 12) and enclosures should be submitted along with signature on each page.
2. The candidates desiring to apply for more than one post must submit separate application for each post in separate envelope.
3. The Envelope containing application form should be super scribed with “Application Form For The Post Of Subject .
4. The candidates are required to enclose attested photocopies of all documents related to qualifications they possess and proof of other related information.
5. It is compulsory to write the enclosure number related to photocopies attached of documents/qualifications, otherwise the application form will be treated as incomplete and rejected without any information.
6. Proof of documents/ qualifications received after due date will not be accepted.
7. Applications and score card received after the last date or incomplete forms will be rejected without making any further reference and no fee shall be refunded.
8. University shall not be responsible for any delay.
9. The candidate appointed against any post shall be governed by the act/statutes/rules and regulations of the University.
10. Pension and other allowances will be admissible to selected candidates as per financial rules of the University modified from time to time.
11. For the employees appointed on or after 1.1.2004, the new contributory Pension Scheme and all other rules as amended by the Government of Rajasthan from time to time (F. 13(1) Finance/Rules/2003 dated 06.05.2004) shall be applicable.
12. Any candidate who is appointed through this advertisement will be governed as per new pension scheme in this University.
13. However, his/her salary will be paid as per the rules of the Government of Rajasthan as amended time to time.
14. Any type of canvassing or influencing will be treated as disqualification.
15. The candidates will have to produce the original copies of all certificates and documents attached at the time of interview for verification.

In case, the applications received in response to this advertisement are large in number and it is not convenient or possible for the University to interview all the candidates, the University may restrict/ shortlist the number of candidates by screening of applications and accordingly will call the candidates for interview in the ratio of 1 : 10
