Job Title: Project Associate – I/Junior Research Fellow
Department:
- School of Physics.
- Centre for Earth Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences
Project Title: Impact of global warming on regional Ocean circulation, Air-Sea interactions and cyclogenesis over Bay of Bengal
Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. (Physical Oceanography/ Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences/ Meteorology) or M.Tech. (Atmospheric/Ocean Sciences)
- Experience in computer programming using Fortran, C, shell programming, etc., in Linux/UNIX platforms. Skill in data analysis using GrADS/ Ferret/ NCL/ CDO/ MATLAB.
Candidate Profile:
- The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
- The candidate should have excellent communication
- Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
- The candidate should have good research record
Project Duration: Initially for six months. The position is extendable to one year
depending on the progress of the JRF reviewed quarterly

Fellowship: Rs. 25, 000 per month + HRA
