Professor and Assistant Professor Jobs in Guntur: On 03.05.2021, AIIMS Mangalagiri announced job notification for the post of Professors jobs  has been released officially. In continuation to the Faculty advertisement issued vide No. AIIMS/MG/Admin/RecruitMatt/03/ Faculty/2020-21/ 01 dtd 12/01/2021, notice issued vide F. No/AIIMS/MG/Admin/RecruitMatt/03/ Faculty/2020-21/Notice/03 dtd 22/04/2021 and Corrigendum to the notice issued vide F No/ AIIMS/ MG/Admin/Recruit Matt/03/Faculty/2020-21/01D dtd 03/05/2021, reservation roster is redrawn. Further, the applications to 119 (116 advertised earlier + 03 newly advertised) under mentioned posts are reopened for submission till 16/05/2021.

Qualification Details:-

Professor:-

Essential for Medical Candidates:
1. A medical Qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the conditions
specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)
2. A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.  AND/OR
3. M.Ch. for surgical Superspecialities and D.M. for Medical Superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience: Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialist after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR Twelve years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institute in the subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification
recognized equivalent thereto. OR Eleven years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality for the candidates possessing 3 years recognized Degree of
D.M/M.Ch in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

1. Essential for Non-medical Candidates: *
   1. Postgraduate qualification e.g. Master degree in the discipline/allied subject.
   2. A Doctorate degree of a recognized University in concerned discipline.
   Experience: Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate degree.

Additional Professor:-

Essential for Medical Candidates (for General Discipline):-

1 to 2 same as for Professor (Medical)
Experience: Ten years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for Superspeciality disciplines: –

1) Same as Professor (Medical)
2) D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical superspecialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Experience:– Eight years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./ M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR Seven years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality for the candidates possessing 3 years recognized degree of
D.M. / M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Essential for Non-medical Candidates:-

1 & 2 are same as for Professor (Non – Medical)
Experience: Ten years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Doctorate degree.

Associate Professor:-

Essential for Medical Candidates (for General Discipline): –
1 to 2 same as for Professor (Medical).
Experience: Six years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialist after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. / M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. Essential for Super specialty disciplines:
1. Same as Professor (Medical)
2. D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical super-specialties’ and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical super specialties’ (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience: Four years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or  5 years recognized course after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto. OR Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialist for the candidates possessing 3 years recognized degree of
D.M. /M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Essential for Non-medical Candidates:-
1 & 2 are same as for Professor (Non – Medical).
Experience: Six years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.

Assistant Professor:-

Essential for Medical Candidates (For General Disciplines):-

1 to 2 same as for Professor (Medical).
Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for Superspeciality disciplines:
1. Same as Professor (Medical)
2. D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical superspecialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Experience: One years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the  subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M/M.Ch. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
Essential for Non-medical Candidates: –
1 & 2 are same as for Professor (Non – Medical).
Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned
after obtaining the Doctorate degree.

1. Other Conditions:-

1. The appointee shall be on the whole-time appointment of the AIIMS Mangalagiri and shall not accept any other assignment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself in a private practice of any kind.
2. Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.

iii. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.

1. The selected candidate is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline as applicable to the institute employees.
2. The appointment will be subject to review and probation of two years.
3. In case, any information or declaration given by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and/or any action taken as deemed fit by the appointing authority.

vii. The decision of the competent authority regarding the selection of candidates will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.

viii. Incomplete applications in any aspect will be summarily rejected.

xii. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit by the competent Medical Board.

xiii. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the Institute reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate.

xiv. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of all the information and documents submitted by him/her along with the application form. Submission of any false and/or suppression/concealment of facts shall lead to rejection/ cancellation of selection/recruitment of the applicant.

1. The persons belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) must upload the certificate in the requisite proforma duly issued by the authority concerned. The OBC certificate must be issued with-in one year of conducting the interviews/ selections, as per the standard format, prescribed by Government of India.

xvi. Candidates applying under any of the reserved category posts, viz. SC/ST/OBC/ PwBD will be considered subject to Caste Certificate issued by the appropriate/ competent authority on the prescribed format. Community should be clearly and legibly mentioned in the certificate. OBC candidate’s eligibility will be based on the caste(s) borne in the Central List of Government of India. OBC candidate(s) should not belongs to Creamy Layer and their sub-caste should match with the entries in Central List of OBC, failing which their candidates will not be considered under any of the applied reserved category post(s).

xvii. Candidates applying under EWS Category post will be considered subject to submission of valid certificate. EWS Certificate must be valid for the year 2021-22 and must have been issued between 01.04.2021 and date of interview of respective departments.

xviii. Person with Disabilities (PwD) candidate(s) with benchmark disability will be allowed in accordance
with Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment’s, Notification No. 16- 15/2010-DD.III dated 29th July, 2013 as amended from time to time, in the above recruitment process. Further, only such persons would be eligible for reservation under PwBD quota in service/posts who suffer from not less than 40% of physical disability.

xix. Person who wants to avail the benefit of reservation would have  to submit a Disability Certificate issued by a competent authority in prescribed format.

1. Applicants already employed in Central/State Govt./Autonomous Institutions / Statutory Organizations/ PSUs under Central/ State Govt. should route their applications through proper channel. While forwarding the application through proper channel, a certificate to the effect that Central Government / State Government / Union Territory or the parent Department/Organizations has “No Objection” to the appointment of officer concerned should

xxi. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
