- PROFESSOR OF AYURVEDA
Educational Qualification: – MD in Ayurveda (Kayachikithsa / Manasaroga / Panchakarma) from a recognized University / Institution.
Experience: – 13 years total teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree as above.
Desirable: – Ph.D. in Ayurveda/ research publications in the field especially relating to the use of Ayurveda in mental health and neurosciences. Candidates with degree/ experience in Yoga would be given preference.
Upper Age Limited: – 50 years
Pay Matrix: – Rs. 1,68,900 – 2,20,400/-
Initial Pay: – Rs.1,68,900/- (Plus NPA)
- ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF NEUROLOGY:-
Educational Qualification:- DM Neurology / Specialty Board of Neurology (USA) OR equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution.
Experience:- 3 years teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree as above.
Upper Age limit:- 50 years
Pay Matrix:- Rs. 1,38,300 – 2,09,200/-
Initial Pay in the Pay Matrix:- Rs.1,38,300/- (Plus NPA)
- ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF NEUROVIROLOGY:-
Educational Qualification:- Medical : MD in Microbiology from a recognized University / Institution. Non Medical : Ph.D / D.Sc in Microbiology / Virology from a recognized University / Institution.
Experience:- 6 years teaching and / or research experience in the discipline / subject after obtaining the qualifying doctorate degree as above.
Upper Age limit:- 50 years
Pay Matrix:- Rs. 1,38,300 – 2,09,200/
Initial Pay in the Pay Matrix:- Rs.1,38,300/- (Plus NPA for Medical)
- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF NEUROLOGY:-

- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF NEUROSURGERY:-
Educational Qualification:- M.Ch. Neurosurgery / Specialty Board of Neurosurgery (USA) OR equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution.
- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF NEUROVIROLOGY:-
Educational Qualification:- Medical : MD in Microbiology from a recognized University / Institution. Non Medical : Ph.D / D.Sc in Microbiology / Virology from a recognized University / Institution.

- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF NEUROMICROBIOLOGY:-
Educational Qualification:- Medical : MD in Microbiology from a recognized University / Institution. Non Medical : Ph.D / D.Sc in the field of Medical Microbiology from a recognized University / Institution.
Experience:- 3 years teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree as above
- ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF TRANSFUSION MEDICINE & HAEMATOLOGY:-
Educational Qualification:- MD in Transfusion Medicine / Haematology and Blood Transfusion / Immunohaematology & Transfusion Medicine OR equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution / Board.
Experience:- 3 years teaching and / or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree as above.
Age Limit: 50 Years
Pay Matrix Assistant Professor: – Rs. 1,01,500-1,67,400/-
Initial Pay in the Pay Matrix:- Rs.1,01,500/- (Plus NPA)
T E R M S A N D C O N D I T I O N S :-
- The candidates may download the Application form from this Institute Website http://www.nimhans.ac.in. and the prescribed application processing fee (including 18% GST) Rs.2360/- (Rs.1180/- in case of SC / ST candidates) shall be remitted to State Bank of INDIA, NIMHANS Branch, Bengaluru, Beneficiary Name: The Director, NIMHANS, S.B. - The Details of application processing fee paid and its transaction details to be compulsorily filled in the Annexure provided in the application. If incomplete details are furnished by the applicant their application will be rejected.
- The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the Institute’s website http://www.nimhans.ac.in
- The duly filled in application in the prescribed format should be submitted, so as to reach The Director, NIMHANS, P.B.No.2900, Hosur Road, Bengaluru – 560 029, India, on or before 01.10.2020 before 4.30 PM.
- Separate applications should be sent for each post.
- In-service candidates should forward the application through their employers or produce “No Objection Certificate” along with the application, failing which the candidate’s application will not be considered under the category of in-service.
- Indian Nationals residing abroad can apply by giving full details of educational qualifications, teaching/research experience with copies of supportive documents together with an application fee of US $ 35 for each application.
- Candidates should enclose self-attested copies of certificates of Age Proof, Academic Qualifications, Marks Sheets (of all the years / semesters), Experience, etc.
- No applications shall be entertained if it is incomplete / received after the last date prescribed / not forwarded through proper channel. The Institute will not take responsibility for postal delay if any.
- No separate intimation / communication will be sent to candidates who are Not Eligible
- Candidates belonging to reserved category such as SC, ST & OBC may also apply for the vacancies notified against UR without any relaxation in respect of Age as per Government of India, DoPT O.M No. 36011/1/98-Estt.(Res) dated 01.07.1998.
- Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/ PWD/ EX-Serviceman candidates and Government Servants In-service (Central Civil Employees only) as per G.O.I rules. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EX-Serviceman have to submit relevant, latest certificate/s in the prescribed form issued by the Competent Authority (Candidates applying under OBC Category should produce OBC Certificate in Annexure – A format enclosed).
- . In case if it is felt necessary, the Institute may not fill up any or all the above posts and if so, no separate intimation will be given to the candidates.
- The number of vacancies / category-wise vacancies may vary or likely to change..

- Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Bengaluru only.
