Jamia Hamdard announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed Any Post Graduate, M.A, M.Phil/Ph.D for the position of Assistant Professor.
Qualification Details:
Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in School of Media & Mass Communication, purely on contractual basis.
A. Eligibility
Criteria – A:
Master’s degree/PGDJMC with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale
wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant /allied
subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited
foreign University.
Ph.D in Mass Communication or in the relevant recruitment subject area (1)
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared
the National Eligibility Test (NET) as prescribed by the UGC (2) At least 3
years of relevant Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience
in a reputed organization
B. Eligibility Criteria – B:
Master’s degree/PGDJMC with 55% marks (or an equivalent
grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a
concerned/relevant /allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent
degree from an accredited foreign University.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have at least 8
years of relevant Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience
in a reputed organization.
C. Desirable: Ph.D. in Mass Communication or in the relevant recruitment subject area. Good professional knowledge of working on the latest equipment and systems to teach theory, operation and application with illustrations in the discipline concerned.
Note:-
- The number of candidates to be called for interview for the teaching posts in the University, shall be determined after screening of applications in accordance with the eligibility criteria.
- The positions are on contractual basis and the remuneration as per rule, at par with industry and be based on the qualification & experience.
Selection Procedure:-
Eligibility criteria or the academic score specified in the eligibility criteria shall be considered for short-listing of the candidates for interview only, and the selections shall be based only on the performance of the candidate in the interview.
