The candidates applying for the above positions should possess qualifications prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor as per University / UGC rules and their name must figure in the list of ad-hoc panel prepared by the Department of Buddhist Studies for the academic session 2020-21.
Qualification:The candidates should have a good academic record with at least 55% marks (50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST and those who passed their Master’s degree prior to 19.09.1991 and hold Ph.D. degree) or an equivalent grade at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject or an equivalent qualification from an Indian or foreign University. Candidates, besides fulfilling the above qualifications, should have cleared the eligibility test for lecturers (NET) conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. However, candidates having Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject are exempted from NET.

The hard copies of all relevant documents should be carried by the candidates attending the interview in offline mode.
