- Qualification: MA Sociology Minimum 55 % marks with NET (M.phil/PhD – preferred) ( in the absence of NET qualified candidates, non-NET candidates will also be considered).
Salary:-
- Candidates with Ph.D – Rs.26,000/- per month (consolidated amount without D.A and any other allowances in the scale of pay 26000-400-30000- 500-35000-600-41000).
- Candidates with NET/M.Phil- Rs 25,000/- per month ( consolidated amount without D.A and any other allowances in the scale of pay 25000-400- 29000-500-34000-600-40000).
- Candidates without NET/MPhiI- Rs 24,000/- per month( consolidated amount without D.A and any other allowances in the scale of pay 24000-400- 28000-500-33000-600-39000).
General Instructions:-
The existing vacancies and arising vacancies will be filled up from the rank list prepared on the basis of this notification and the University will take appropriate decision on the appointment to fill up the vacancies arising in future, other than that notified, from time to time. The candidates should furnish the details of the qualifications possessed by them, as prescribed by the University.

Selection Procedure:-
The candidates short-listed for interview should produce their certificates in original at the time of interview for proving their age, qualification, experience, community. etc Candidates possessing Degrees from other Universities in Kerala and outside should produce Equivalency issued from the University of Calicut. Appointment on deputation basis will not be considered. No TA/DA will be allowed to the candidates for attending the interview.
