Qualification Details:
Applications in prescribed Performa with complete bio-data are invited to fill up the posts of Assistant Professor in different department of RIMS, Ranchi, an Autonomous Institution under Govt. of Jharkhand.

3. Qualification:
A medical qualification included in the level I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualification included part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the Act. A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline /subject.
4. Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D/M.S or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
5. Essential for Super specialty discipline:
Same as first one D.M in the respective discipline /subject for a medical super specialties and M.Ch. in the respective discipline /subject for a surgical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
6. Experience:
One years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M/M.Ch (2 years or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing 3 years recognised Degree D.M/M.Ch. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
7. Non Medical: Postgraduate qualification e.g. Master Degree in the discipline /allied subject/ A doctorate degree of a recognized university.
8. Experience: Three years teaching and /or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.

Instructions to the candidates:
1. The envelope should be super-scribed with the post applied for. Separate applications should be sent, if the candidate is applying for more than one post in separate envelope
2. The discipline/subject for which the application(s) is/are being submitted needs to be indicated clearly
3. Self attested photocopies of the mark sheets of all MBBS examinations, certificate(s) of educational qualifications, Caste certificate& all testimonials showing experience etc. and one self attested passport size photographs should be attached with the application form.
4. Incomplete application will not be considered.
5. The period of probation is two years for all posts from the date of their joining.
6. Employees of Government or Semi-government departments should apply through proper channel.
7. However advance copy shall also be accepted provided proof of seeking No Objection Certificate from the employer, is annexed with the application.
8. The candidate must be a citizen of India. The post(s) is/are whole time and private practice of any kind will not be allowed.
