AIIMS Raebareli is an apex healthcare Institute, established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) with the aim of correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary level healthcare in the country and attaining self- sufficiency in graduate and postgraduate Medical education and training. Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the Faculty post of Assistant Professor on purely Contractual Basis for various departments in AllMS Raebareli for a period of 1 year or till regular faculty joins the Institute whichever is earlier. Essential for Medical candidates (for Broad Specialty Disciplines): Educational Qualification:-
- A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section13 (3) of the Act.).
- A post graduate qualification eg. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the resptive discipline/subject.
- Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institutionin the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. [M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto However, no experience is necessary for candidate possessing three (3) years recognize degree of D.M./M.Ch or qualification recognized equivalent thereto

Upper Age Limit: 50 (Fifty) years. However, relaxable for Government Servants, PWD (OPH), applicants up to 5 years. No age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC/PWD (OPH) candidates applying for unreserved vacancies. The last date of submission of application will be considered as the date for upper age limit.

- The candidates should read the instructions carefully on the recruitment portal before filling the application.
- Interview may be spilled over to next day. Therefore, candidates should be available for next day also, if necessary.

- The Interview will be held at Medical College Block, Board Room, AIIMS, Raebareli, Munshiganj, Dalmau Road, Raebareli-229405. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the Interview. The mode of interview may be either on physical or virtual mode. The decision of the Executive Director in this regard shall be final and binding. The mode of interview as well as date of interview shall be communicated to all the eligible candidates by email only.
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification. The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection.
- The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
- The selected candidate is expected to conform to the rules of conduct and discipline asapplicable to the Institute employees.
- In case of any information or declaration given by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service with immediate effect and action will be taken as deemed fit by the appointing authority.
- The decision of the Executive Director, AllMS Raebareli regarding the selection of candidates will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.lncomplete applications in any aspect will be summarily rejected.

- Appointment of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit by the competent Medical Board.
- Selected candidates have to join within 15 days of publication of result in the Institute Website or receiving of Appointment Letter via email. Candidates who are working in Central/State Government/Semi Government/ Autonomous Institution must submit relieving certificate at the time of joining.
Terms and Conditions:-

- The appointment is purely on CONTRACT BASIS for a period of 1 year or till regular faculty joins, whichever is earlier, with effect from the date of joining. However, the contractual appointment shall not be extended beyond the period of two years. If the contract is not extended further, the same will lapse automatically. The appointment can also be terminated at any time, on either side, by giving one month’s notice or by paying one month’s salary.
- The appointee shall not be entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, deduction of NPS Subscription, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc. or any other benefits available to the Government Servants, appointed on regular basis.
- The appointee shall perform the duties as assigned to him/her. The competent authority reserves the right to assign any duty as and when required. Noextra/additional allowances will be admissible in case of such assignment.
- The appointee shall not be granted any claim or right for regular appointment to any post of AIIMS, Raebareli.
- The appointee shall be on the whole-time appointment of the AllMS Raebareli and shall not accept any other assignment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself in a private practice of any kind during the period of contract.
- Leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed as per rules.
- On appointment, the appointee will be required to take an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of India or make a solemn affirmation to that effect in the prescribed Performa.
- The appointee is not entitled to any T.A. /D.A. for attending the interview and joining the appointment.
- Other conditions of service will be governed by relevant rules and orders issued from time to time.
