Walk In Interview for following Teaching post purely on contractual basis are being scheduled at Rashtriya Raksha University, Lavad, Ta- Dahegam, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India
1. Name of the Post: Assistant Professor (Foreign Affairs)
2. Nature of Position: Contractual

4. Educational Qualification & Experience:
a) Master degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
b) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph. D. Degree in Political Science, International Relations and Area Studies, National Security Studies, Defence and Strategic Studies, Foreign Policy, Political Economy in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET:
c) Provided, the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/Byelaws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfilment of the following conditions: –
i) Awarded Ph.D. Degree in a regular mode; Evaluated Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners; Conducted open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate; Published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal by the Candidate; The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph. D work in conferences/seminars sponsored/ funded/supported by the UGC / ICSSR/ CSIR or any similar agency.
d) The fulfilment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or the Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned.
5. Desirable Qualification:
a. Teaching, Research and / or professional experience from reputed organization
b. Papers presented / published at Conferences and / or in refereed journals
c. Proficiency in English, Ability to meet the timelines.
d. Ability to prepare reports/papers on various assignments.
e. Experience of research in relevant area, Excellent research skills
f. Individuals who have qualified JRF/NET will be given strong preference;
g. Individuals who have a Security related academic / research background and Language specialists with subject matter expertise in pt. 1 will be an added bonus.

Educational Qualification & Experience:- Candidates having Master’s degree in any discipline with specialisation in International Relations/National Security/Foreign Policy/Polity are invited for walk in interview for the position of Assistant Professor (Research) purely on contract and assignment basis. The Incumbent shall be working for various assignments of Member, National Security Advisory board of India.

1. The prescribed qualifications and/or experience shall be the minimum, and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same shall not entitle him/her for interview. The Rashtriya Raksha University shall have the right to restrict the number of candidates to be interviewed to a reasonable level based on better or higher qualifications and experience than the minimum prescribed.
2. The contractual appointment shall end on the stipulated date of expiry of contract in appointment letter. Selected candidates shall have no right to renewal, extension of conversion into permanent employment.
3. The University retains the discretion not to make any appointment to this vacancy, to make an appointment at a revised remuneration, or to make an appointment with a modified job description and to fix revised qualification, experience, remuneration and requirements.
4. Canvassing or influencing in any form on behalf of any candidate will disqualify such candidate. Rashtriya Raksha University reserves the right to take appropriate action against such candidate.
5. All the candidates are expected to download Brief Profile Form from University website, duly fill and bring along with them the “Brief Profile Form” for the interview. The Form should be neatly and legibly filled or typed preferably in at least 12 Garamond font size.

7. The Rashtriya Raksha University shall have the right to: a. relax any of the qualifications/experience at its discretion; b. draw/ reserve panel(s) against the possible vacancies in the near future;

9. No TA / DA shall be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
10. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection, which may come to notice at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the Rashtriya Raksha University reserves the right to modify / withdraw / cancel any communication or offer, made to the candidates at any stage.
11. In case of any dispute / ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Rashtriya Raksha University shall be final and binding.
