Qualification/Experience:-

Associate Professor:-

1. A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfill the condition specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)
2. A post graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.
3. Experience: Six years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
4. Pay Scale: Level-13-A1+ (138300-209200) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).

Assistant Professor:-

iii. For Trauma & Emergency, M.D. in Emergency Medicine or MD in General Medicine or MS in General Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto

4. Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. Or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
5. Essential for Non-Medical Candidates (Applications are invited only for the post of Assistant Professor in Biochemistry): 1. Post graduate qualification e.g. Masters degree in the concerned discipline. 2. A doctorate degree of recognized university
6. Experience: Three years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
7. Essential for Superspeciality disciplines: 1. Same as for a point no. 1 Above 2. D.M. in the respective discipline/subject for medical superspecialities and M.Ch. in the respective discipline/subject for surgical superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
8. Experience: One-year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of D.M./M.Ch. (2 years after MD/MS or 5 years recognized course after MBBS) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. However, no experience is necessary for the candidates possessing the 3 years recognized degree of D.M./M.Ch or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
9. Pay Scale: Level-12, (101500-167400) As per 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).

Application Fee:-

Application fee for General/OBC category Rs. 2,000/-, for SC/ST category Rs. 500/-. The Application fee is non-refundable. For PwD category application fee is exempted

General Conditions:-

1. All Relevant certificates are to be combined into a single PDF file and uploaded on the google form
2. Applicants must fill all the details carefully since after submission of application request for change in any information at any later stage will not be considered.
3. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post and pay the application fee for each post.
4. The decision of Director, AIIMS Nagpur in this regard shall be final and binding. The offer of appointment when made will be provisional and subject to verification of credentials (Educational & Personal) by competent authority. 6. The appointment will be subject to review and probation of two years.
7. If an appointee wishes to apply somewhere else during the probation period – first 02 years of joining, He/she will not be issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC)
8. No correspondence/queries will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct and result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview

Selection Procedure:-

1. Based on bio-data, the Search cum Selection Committee may short-list Candidates for interview. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application at the time of interview
2. The interview will be held in Nagpur only. List of eligible candidates, Date, time & venue for interview shall be put up in the website. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
3. The decision of the competent authority regarding selection of candidates will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard
