Qualification Details:
Applications in the prescribed format are invited for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professor and Assistant Librarian on the pay of Academic Level-10 as per 7th pay commission in the University.

4. Qualification:
A) Assistant Professor (Agricultural Engineering and Dairy technology) B.E./B. Tech./B.S. and M.E./M. Tech./M.S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out by the University.
B) Desirable: Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in a reputed organization; Papers presented at Conferences and / or in refereed journals.
C) Assistant Professor (Other than Agricultural Engineering & Dairy –
a) Master Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade/OGPA/CGPA in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from Indian University(s), or an equivalent degree from a recognized foreign University. A relaxation of 5% shall be given to SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy Layer), MBC (Non-creamy Layer) and Differently-abled (Divyangjan) candidates.
b) NET shall remain compulsory for all candidates. Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided, it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations, 2009 and as amended by the ICAR/UGC from time to time (and also as per ICAR letter No. 23 (46) /2010-EQR (Edn.) dated 26th December, 2011, issued by ADG (EQR), and the candidate has at least Two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4.0 on the last date of submission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not qualify for NET exemption.
c) Further, the award of degrees to candidate registered for the M.Phil/ Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances/By laws/Regulations of the Institution awarding the degrees and the Ph.D candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:
i) Ph.D. degree of the candidate awarded in regular mode only.
ii) Evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis by at least two external examiners.
iii) Candidate had published two research papers out of which at least one in a refereed journal from out of his/her Ph.D. work.
iv) The candidate had presented two papers in seminars / conferences from out of his/her= Ph.D. work.
v) Open Ph.D. viva-voce of the candidate had been conducted.
d) NET shall not be required for such Masters Programmes in the disciplines for which NET is not conducted. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out by the University.

1. The horizontal reservation to Divyangian (Specially Abled) candidates shall be provided as per Government of Rajasthan rules as amended from time to time that means the candidate shall be included/adjusted in same category to which he/she belongs.
2. In case of unavailability of eligible and suitable candidate of Rajasthan from BC/MBC/EWS category, these posts shall be filled through Normal Procedure as per rule.
3. The reservation to female candidates including widows and divorcee shall be provided as per the Rajasthan Teachers and Officers (Selection for the appointment) act, 1974 and as amended from time to time as per reservation policy of Government of Rajasthan, for the bonafide residents of Rajasthan vide Government of Rajasthan order No. 3(49) Krishi/Group- 3/2016 dated 17.3.2017.
4. In case of unavailability of eligible and suitable divorcee or widow candidate, these posts shall be filled through interchange among divorcee/widow of the same category, and if eligible and suitable divorcee/widow candidate are not available, these posts shall be filled through other women candidate of the same category. Further, in case of unavailability of eligible and suitable women candidate, these posts shall be filled through male candidate of the same category for which it reserved.
5. Widow candidate will have to furnish a certificate of death of her husband from the competent authority, and in case of divorcee, she will have to furnish the proof of divorce along with application form.
6. Reservation shall be provided to SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS candidates as per the Rajasthan Teachers and Officers (Selection for the appointment) act, 1974 and as amended from time to time and as per reservation policy of Government of Rajasthan, for the bonafide residents of Rajasthan only, and candidates must submit their caste certificate along with application form.
7. The candidates belonging to BC/MBC must submit their caste certificate issued recently (Not before six months from the last date of application submission and date of interview also, if called) for the purpose of non-creamy layer. The candidates applying under E WS category should attach EWS Income & Assets Certificate issued recently by competent authority in the standard format.
General Conditions and Instructions:
1. The application form in MS Word format and the Score Card should be downloaded from the University Website (www.aujodhpur.ac.in) and only the typed copy of the application form (in Times New Romans script and font size 12) and enclosures should be submitted along with signature on each page.
2. The candidates desiring to apply for more than one post must submit separate application for each post in separate envelope.
3. The candidates are required to enclose attested photocopies of all documents related to qualifications they possess and proof of other related information. It is compulsory to write the enclosure number related to photocopies attached of documents/qualifications, otherwise the application form will be treated as incomplete and rejected without any information. Proof of documents/ qualifications received after due date will not be accepted.
4. Applications and score card received after the last date or incomplete forms will be rejected without making any further reference and no fee shall be refunded. University shall not be responsible for any delay.
5. Persons already in service must apply through proper channel. However to avoid delay, an advance copy of application alongwith requisite fees and other documents, may be submitted before the closing date. The advance copy of application form should be superscripted with “ADVANCE COPY”. Such applicants must produce NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from their present employer at the time of interview or alongwith application form through proper channel.
6. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
7. Candidate appointed through this advertisement can be posted at any unit of the University.
8. A candidate, who knowingly or wilfully furnishes incorrect or false particulars or suppresses material information, will be disqualified and, if appointed, will be liable to dismissal from service without prior notice.
9. In case, the applications received in response to this advertisement are large in number and it is not convenient or possible for the University to interview all the candidates, the University may restrict/shortlist the number of candidates by screening of applications or through screening test and accordingly will call the candidates for interview in the ratio of 1:8.
10. The candidate appointed against any post shall be governed by the act/statutes/rules and regulations of the University. Pension and other allowances will be admissible to selected candidates as per financial rules of the University modified from time to time.
