🔹 Pay Scale

Appointments will be made at the Academic Pay Level-10 of the 7th CPC, which includes:

Basic Pay: ₹57,700 per month

Additional allowances as per University of Delhi/UGC norms.

🔹 Eligibility Criteria (as per UGC Regulations, 2018)
Candidates must satisfy either the academic + NET/Ph.D. eligibility OR hold a recognized foreign Ph.D. from a top-ranked university.
âś… A. Academic Qualification with NET or Ph.D.

A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the relevant/allied subject from an Indian or foreign university.

Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR.
OR -
Must hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the UGC Ph.D. regulations (2009/2016 or later amendments).
Exemption from NET is granted if the Ph.D.:

Was awarded before 11 July 2009,

Was conferred under UGC regulations,

Fulfilled the following:

Ph.D. through regular mode,

Thesis evaluated by two external examiners,

Viva voce conducted,
-
Two research papers published from the Ph.D. (at least one in a refereed journal),

Two conference presentations based on Ph.D. research.

🔹 Selection Process
1. Screening

Shortlisting will be done based on the Academic/Research Score using UGC Regulation Table 3B (2018).
2. Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The final merit list will be based on interview performance.
