Qualification Details:
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India. Employees’ State Insurance Corporation proposes to recruit Deans for ESI PGIMSRs & Medical Colleges, ESIC Medical Colleges and ESIC Dental Colleges on Direct Recruitment regular basis as under:
1. Name of the Post: Dean

3. Pay Band & Grade Pay: Level-14 of Pay Matrix 1,44,200– 2,18,200 as per 7th CPC.
4. Educational Qualifications:
a) (i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the said Act,);and
(ii) A postgraduate medical qualification i.e. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Master of Surgery (MS) or a recognised qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject or allied discipline.
b) (i) A qualification included in part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948);
(ii) Should be registered with Dental Council of India and;
(iii) A postgraduate qualification i.e. Master of Dental Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
5. Experience:
a) (i) Fourteen years of teaching experience and / or research experience in recognised institution in the concerned speciality or subject after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Master of Surgery (MS) or qualification equivalent thereto.
(ii) Minimum of ten years teaching experience as Professor or Associate Professor or Reader in a Medical College, out of which at least five years should be as Professor in a Department.
b) Fourteen years teaching experience in recognized Institution, in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of Master of Dental Surgery or qualification equivalent thereto, out of which minimum of five years teaching experience as a Professor in a recognized Dental College.

The following testimonials should be attached with application form: –
(a) One copy of recent passport size photograph duly attested and firmly pasted at the appropriate place on the application form.
(b) Attested copies of certificates and testimonials in support of proof of age, Date of Birth, Educational qualification and Experience etc.
(c) Attested copy of Community Status Certificate in the prescribed form in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS category.
(d) Candidates seeking reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC /PWD/EWS category must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in the Notice and as per the instructions issued by Govt. of India. They should also be in possession of the certificates in the prescribed format of Govt. of India in support of their claim. Candidates claiming reservation/ age relaxation under OBC Category should submit the OBC Certificate given prescribed vide Govt. of India, Department of Personal and Training OM No. 36012/22/93- Estt.(SCT) dated 15.11.93 along with Self Declaration given failing which the benefit of reservation or age relaxation will not be given.
(e) Candidates claiming reservation under EWS Category should submit the EWS Certificate given.
(f) Candidates claiming relaxation in age under Ex-servicemen Category should submit form of undertaking as given
General Conditions:
(i) The crucial date for determining the age limit and other eligibility criteria shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India i.e. 31.01.2022.
(ii) Mere submission of application does not confer any right to the candidate for being called for
(iii) The selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
(iv) A candidate should submit only one application and indicate the application for ESIC PGIMSR & Medical College OR ESIC Dental college in the application form appended below.
(v) In case of application received Incomplete or Unsigned application or without application fee and those received after the last date of receipt of applications, shall be liable to be rejected.
(vi) In case of application received without the certified copies of mark sheets /certificates of educational qualification, caste certificate and photographs, ESIC reserves the right to decide about such applications.
(vii) Wrong declarations/submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage.
(viii) Applications received after the last date of receipt of applications will not be considered.
(ix) The Corporation takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt or loss in postal transit of any application or communication.
(x) Before applying for the post, the candidate should ensure that he / she fulfils the eligibility criteria mentioned above. The Corporation would be free to reject any application at any stage of selection process if the candidate is found ineligible for the post for which he/she has applied.
(xi) The selection for the above posts will be on the basis of interview which will be conducted by the Selection Board at New Delhi. However, ESIC reserves the right to change the centre, if need be. The result of the interview shall be uploaded on the website of the Corporation and no inquiry or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
(xii) Fee once paid is not refundable.
(xiii) Canvassing in any form will be disqualification.

(i) All eligible candidates should apply in the application format appended below. Applications received after the last date of receipt of applications will not be considered.
(ii) Selection will be made on the basis of interview which will be conducted by the Selection Board. The interview will be held at New Delhi. However, ESIC reserves the right to change the centre of interview, if need be. The results of the interview will be published on the website of the Corporation and no inquiry or correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
(iii) Information regarding the candidates called for interview shall be available on the website of the ESIC www.esic.nic.in. Call letters for appearing before the Interview Board shall be given through email at the email id provided by the candidate in the application. The selection of the candidates shall be on the basis of their performance in the interview only.
