SUK announced job notification for the post of Temporary Assistant Professor has been released officially. M.Phil/Ph.D pass Can apply for this job openings. The said appointments will be made on purely temporary basis for the academic year 2021-22 under Section 103 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016. (Mah. VI of 2017). OR up to the filling of said posts under Section 102 of Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016 whichever will be earlier.

3. Pay Scale: Rs. 32,000/- p.m. consolidated
4. Tenure: All the posts are purely temporary for the period of 11 months of academic year 2021-22.
5. Following qualifications for the Post of Assistant Professor (Post Code No.07/21 – 01 to 27 ) as per UCG Notification dtd. 18 July 2018 and Government of Maharashtra Government Resolution dtd. 08/03/2019.
6. Qualifications:
i. A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii. The Ph.D Degree in concerned subject from recognized University is mandatory. A Ph. D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be,
iii. Provided that the candidates registered for the Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances / Bye-laws / Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:
a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in regular mode only;
b) The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two examiners;
c) An open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted;
d) The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal; and
e) The candidate has presented at least two papers, based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/ seminars, sponsored/ funded/ supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.
B. The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following:
(i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ;
(ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or
(iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai
7. Advertisement No. 07 /2021
Instructions:
1) Relaxation of 5% will be provided for the marks at the Master’s degree level for candidates from SC and ST category.
2) Candidates belonging to reserved category, from outside the State of Maharashtra will be treated as open category candidates.
3) PWD and Women reservation will be as per Government Resolution
4) The Roman figure in the parenthesis after the category indicated the number of times the post has been advertised.
5) Reserved candidates shall produce the Caste Validity Certificate as per the directives issued by the State Government vide Circular No. BCC-2011/1064@2011@16 dated 12/12/2011.
6) The applicant who wishes to apply for more than one post should submit separate application for each of the post.
7) Employed candidate must submit the application through proper channel.
8) Incomplete application and applications on plain paper / by manual method (other than online method) or applications without necessary documents will not be entertained.
