Lecturer in Sociology
Qualifications:- Essential– (1) Masters Degree in Sociology with a paper on Comparative Sociology or Sociology of knowledge. Preferential: (a) Candidate possessing a Doctorate in the subject will be preferred. (b) Good knowledge of Hindi. Preferential Qualification- A candidate who has- (1) served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or (2) Obtained a “B” certificate of National Cadet Corps, shall, other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.
Age: 21 to 40 years. (Relaxation in age as per rules).
Lecturer in Penology and Probation
Qualifications:- Essential– (1) Masters Degree in Criminology or Sociology or Social Work or Psychology, with a paper or Diploma in Criminal Psychology/Criminology of Correctional Administration or Sociology of Knowledge. Preferential: (a) A Doctorate in the subject. (b) Good knowledge of Hindi. Preferential Qualification- A candidate who has- (1) served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or (2) Obtained a “B” certificate of National Cadet Corps, shall, other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.

Physical Training Instructor
Qualification:- Essential- (a) Must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh, or an examination recognized as equivalent there to, (b) Must have successfully completed one full year’s training at a college of Physical Education recognized by Government, and (c) Must possess a thorough knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagri Script. Preferential Qualification – A candidate who has- (1) served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or (2) Obtained a “B” certificate of National Cadet Corps, shall other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.
