The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the recruitment for the position of Assistant Registrar in the Higher Education Department “Uttar Pradesh University (Centralised) Service Asstt. Registrar Examination-2024”. Here are the key details:

Eligibility:
Essential:
(A) The candidates must possess the degree of Graduation from any recognized University or Equivalent qualification. Good
knowledge of Hindi is essential.
(B) The candidates must possess the working experience of minimum 07 years in any Govt. office or office of University with which the knowledge of Hindi and English drafting and Accounts Rules are essential.
AGE LIMIT: (i) Candidates must have attained the age of 30 years and must not have crossed the age of 45 years on July 01, 2024 i.e. they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July, 1979 and not later than July 01, 1994.
(ii) Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: (a) Upper age limit shall be greater by five years for candidates belonging to Scheduled castes of U.P., Scheduled Tribes of U.P., Other Backward Classes of U.P., Skilled players of U.P. of Classified Games, State Govt. Employees of U.P. including Teachers/Staff of the Basic Shiksha Parishad of U.P. and teachers/staff of the Government Aided Madhyamik Vidyalayas of U.P. i.e they must have
not been born before 2nd July, 1974.
(b) The upper age limit shall be greater by fifteen years for persons with disabilities (PH) of U.P. i.e they must have not been born before 02 July, 1964.
(c) The upper age limit shall also be greater by three years + Period of service rendered in Army for the Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers/
Ex-Army Perssonels of U.P.
(d) No relaxation is admissible in upper age limit for D.F.F candidates.In the case of a person who has already rendered at least one year’s service in any of the posts in the centralized service or in the university, the maximum age limit shall be greater to the extent he has rendered continuous service over the age limits mentioned in 9 (1).
