Title of the project: Designing a Synergetic C/P Stoichiometry Package to Enhance the Soil Passive Organic Carbon Stock and Mineralization of Fixed Phosphorus Pool in the Eastern Plain Zone of Uttar Pradesh

Qualifications: M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Agronomy/ Soil Science & Agricultural chemistry with minimum 55% marks and have qualified UGC/CSIR/ICAR-NET or GATE.

Job Location: Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

Desirable:

  • M.Sc. Soil Microbiology
  • The candidate should have good analytical skills for carbon and phosphorus fractions in soil.
  • The knowledge of characterization techniques of organic carbon pools is desirable
  • Familiarity with macro nutrients based microorganism behavior in soil is also desirable.
