Eligibility for PGT Posts: –
Essential Qualification for Chemistry Subjects: –
Master’s Degree in Chemistry with at least 50% marks from recognized University OR Post-graduate Diploma in Chemistry awarded by the University of Delhi OR M.Sc Degree in Bio-Chemistry from a recognized University after doing a minimum of 6 years study after matriculation.
AND
B.Ed. Degree or recognized Diploma in Education OR three years experience of teaching Intermediate of higher classes
OR
M.Sc. Ed. in Chemistry from Regional College of Education, NCERT with at least 50% marks
Desirable.
- CTET/ State TET qualified
- Higher qualification in respective subject
- Experience of teaching in residential public school
- Ability to teach through English Medium
- Proficiency in games as well as in co-curricular activities
- Knowledge of Computer application.

Essential Qualification for Social Science (TGT) Subjects: –
Graduate with two subjects out of History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology and Geography with at least 50% marks from recognized University

Hons. Graduate with History or Political Science or Geography as a main subject.

B.Ed. Degree or recognized Diploma in Education
OR
B.A.Ed. in Social Sciences from Regional College of Education, NCERT, with at least 50% marks.
AND
Must have qualified CTET/ State TET

Pay Scale:
Pay as per 7th CPC
Pay level 8 Rs. 47600/- for PGT and pay level 7th Rs. 44900 /- for TGT
Age:
Age Limit For PGT between 21 to 40 Years as on April 20,2020
For TGT between 21 to 35 Years as on April 20,2020
Pay & Perks. Other allowances as per Sainik Schools Society Rules & Regulations, subsidised education for two children and free messing for self except during vacations. Rent free accommodation as available.

- Candidates to attach attested copies of educational qualification, experience certificate, one self-addressed envelope (9”X4”) with Rs.42/- postage stamps affixed, A/c payee Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank of Rs.300/- for General and Rs.100/- for SC/ST (non-refundable) drawn in favour of “Principal, Sainik School Satara”, payable at Satara.
- The post for which applied must be super-scribed on envelope.
- Application along with relevant documents and Demand Draft must reach Principal, Sainik School Satara, Satara415 001, Maharashtra on or before 20 Apr 2020.
