BPSC Teachers Recruitment 2023: Deadline Extended for Recruitment of 1.70 Lakh Teachers in Bihar; Apply by 15th July 2023
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has extended the deadline for online registration for the recruitment of teachers in primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools in Bihar. Eligible candidates can now apply until July 15th on the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in or onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in.
The previous deadline was July 12th, but due to server-related issues, it has been extended until July 15th. The objective of the BPSC recruitment campaign is to fill a total of 170,461 vacancies for school teachers from Class 1 to 5, Class 9 to 10, and Class 11 to 12 under the Department of Education, Bihar Government.

BPSC Teachers Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit: For primary schools, the age limit is 18-37 years as of August 1, 2023, and for secondary and higher secondary schools, it is 21-37 years. There is an upper age limit relaxation for reserved categories.

The selection process will include a written examination. No interview round will be conducted.
BPSC Teachers Recruitment 2023: Application Fee
The application fee for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Female/PWD candidates is ₹200, while for other categories, it is ₹750. Additionally, there is a biometric fee of ₹200 for each post.
