Applications are invited from eligible candidates for Direct Recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professors in Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service for Government Arts & Science Colleges and Government Colleges of Education through online mode only up to 05.00 p.m. on 29.04.2024.
Vacancies: The TRB aims to fill 4000 Assistant Professor positions across Government Arts & Science Colleges and Government Colleges of Education in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks.
NET/SLET/SET Qualification: Aspirants who have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) are eligible to apply.
Application Process:
Online Application: The application process is exclusively online.
Application Fee: General and OBC candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs. 600, while SC/ST/PWD candidates pay Rs. 300.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be part of the Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service with a pay scale of Rs. 57,700 – 1,82,400 (Level 10).
Special Recruitment:
Differently Abled Persons (Hard of Hearing): Three posts are reserved for teaching in Tamil and Computer Application subjects at Presidency College, Chennai.
Backlog and Shortfall Vacancies: The recruitment drive aims to fill both backlog and current vacancies.

Note for Previous Applicants:
If you applied and paid fees in response to Notification No. 12/2019, you need to apply afresh. However, you are exempted from paying the online application registration fees.
The candidates who had already applied and paid the fees earlier in Response to notification no.12/2019, dated: 28.08.2019 and 04.10.2019 have to apply again afresh but they are exempted from the payment of Online application registration fees.
