Educational Qualifications & Eligibility

General Subjects (e.g. languages, humanities, sciences):

• Post‑Graduate degree (UGC-recognized) in relevant subject
• Degree or Diploma in Education (B.Ed.) recognized by NCTE/Government
• Proficiency in Hindi (Devanagari script)
• Knowledge of Rajasthani culture

Commerce:

• PG in Commerce with B.Com OR PG plus two teaching subjects for senior secondary level

Drawing & Music:

• PG degree or equivalent in respective discipline; or government-recognized diploma in Arts or Music

Physical Education (PE) Lecturer:

• Graduate + Postgraduate in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) recognized by NCTE

Coaches (Sports):

• Graduate + Degree/Diploma in Physical Education + full-term NIS certificate in relevant sport

Age Limit (as on January 1, 2026):

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 40 years
• Age relaxation applicable per RPSC rules for reserved categories

Selection Process

• Written Competitive Examination with two objective-type papers:
  • Paper I (General Awareness/Studies): 150 marks, 1.5 hours
  • Paper II (Subject-specific): 300 marks, 3 hours
  • Negative marking: –⅓ per incorrect answer
  • Qualifying Marks: 40% general; 35% for SC/ST candidates
• Final merit list based on combined written exam scores

Application Fee Structure

• General / Creamy Layer OBC / MBC: ₹600
• SC / ST / Non-Creamy Layer OBC / MBC / EWS / PwD / Sahariya Tribe: ₹400
• Application Correction Fee (if applicable): ₹500
