Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET)is a state-level teacher’s eligibility test conducted by the Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE). Aspirants who wish to build a career as teachers in various Government or private schools in Uttarakhand may prepare for and take the exam.
UTET exam will have 2 papers. Candidates who clear the Paper-I can teach classes 1 to 4, whereas, applicants qualifying Paper-II can teach classes 6 to 8 students. The duration of both the papers will be 2 hours 30 minutes. Questions will be set both in English and Hindi. Only objective-type questions will be there in the exam. Applicants qualifying UTET will be awarded the TET certificate which will be valid for their entire life.
The application form for UTET Recruitment 2022 will be available from the first week of July 2022 and the date of the UTET exam will be announced soon.

UTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

UTET Eligibility: Educational Qualification
Here are the educational qualification required for UTET 2022 exam:
For UTET Paper-I
- Must have passed 10+2 exam with a minimum of 50% marks, OR
- Must have passed Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.Ed/BTC) with 50 % Minimum Marks in HSS, OR
- Must have graduated in any Discipline with 50% marks with D.Ed/B.Ed (Special Education).
For UTET Paper-II
- Must have graduated in any discipline with 50% marks along with B. Ed, OR
- Must have a minimum of 45% marks in B.Ed as per the National Teacher Education Council, OR
- Must have qualified SSC with at least 50% marks and have passed Bachelor degree in Elementary Education (B.L.Ed.), OR
- Must have qualified SSC (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and have passed Bachelors degree in B.A/ B.Sc. Ed. or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.

UTET 2022 Admit Card
UTET Admit card will be released 10 to 15 days before the examination date. Admit cards will be uploaded on the official website and students will have to download the admit card. No hard copy of the admit card will be provided. Students will have to bring a printout of the admit card with them to the examination centre on the exam date.
