Job Summary
Faculty members at Firebird Institute of Research in Management (FIRM) play a pivotal role in imparting high-quality education and fostering academic excellence. The role involves designing and delivering engaging courses aligned with NBA accreditation standards, leveraging digital tools and smart classrooms, mentoring students, guiding projects, and contributing to the institute’s academic and quality assurance initiatives.
Professors are expected to maintain the highest standards of teaching, research, and academic integrity while actively participating in institutional development and continuous improvement processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Course Content Development

Design, develop, and update course materials in line with NBA accreditation norms.

Integrate current industry trends, case studies, and research insights into the curriculum.
2. Digital Content Development
-
Develop and enhance digital learning materials to support hybrid and online learning.

Utilize multimedia and interactive tools to enrich the student learning experience.
3. Smart Board & Traditional Teaching
-
Deliver lectures using smart boards and conventional teaching methods.

Employ interactive teaching strategies—discussions, simulations, and group activities—to enhance engagement.
4. Content Upload on Digii Campus
-
Upload all course materials, assignments, and lecture notes on the Digii Campus ERP platform.

Ensure timely access and organized digital documentation.
5. Mentorship & Student Guidance
-
Provide academic and career mentorship to students.

Supervise and guide students in projects, ensuring academic rigor and real-world relevance.
6. Case Study-Based Teaching
-
Implement case-based learning to enhance analytical and decision-making skills.

Facilitate in-class discussions that connect theory with business practice.
7. Outcome-Based Teaching & Lesson Planning
-
Develop lesson plans aligned with Bloom’s Taxonomy and institutional outcomes.

Design fair and comprehensive assessments that evaluate applied learning.
8. Examination & Evaluation

Prepare question papers and conduct evaluations as per institutional guidelines.

Ensure transparency and objectivity in student assessment.
9. ERP Management & Attendance
-
Regularly update attendance, marks, and academic performance on Digii Campus ERP.

Maintain compliance with the institute’s attendance policy.
10. Internal Quality Assurance
-
Participate in Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) activities to maintain NBA standards.

Contribute to curriculum enhancement and academic audits.
11. Routine Academic Tasks
-
Ensure all courses are delivered as per the academic calendar.

Continuously review and improve teaching materials and methodologies.

Maintain open communication with students to address academic concerns.

Collaborate with peers to foster a culture of shared learning and academic excellence.
Additional Responsibilities

Conduct and publish research in reputed journals and participate in academic conferences.
