NIMHANS Invites applications for the following vacant posts, in the prescribed form from the Indian Nationals residing in India & abroad:
1. Post Name: Professor Of Neuro anaesthesia And Neuro Critical Care
2. No. of Post: 01
3. Educational Qualification: M.D. Anaesthesia /M.S. Anaesthesia / Speciality Board of Anaesthesia (USA) or equivalent with training in Neuro Anaesthesia
4. Experience: 13 years teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree as above.
5. Pay Matrix: Rs.1,68,900 – 2,20,400/-
6. Initial Pay in the Pay Matrix: Rs.1,68,900/- (Plus NPA)

3. Educational Qualification: For Medical: M.D in Biochemistry. For Non Medical: Ph.D / D.Sc in Biochemistry / Neurochemistry / any relevant field in life sciences
4. Experience: 13 years teaching or research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree as above.
5. Pay Matrix: Rs.1,68,900 – 2,20,400/-

a). If suitable candidates are not available for the post of Professor it will be operated as Additional Professor and for Associate Professor it will be operated as Assistant Professor as per respective cadre category.

Terms and Conditions:
1. The candidates may download the Application form from this Institute Website http://www.nimhans.ac.in.
2. The prescribed application processing fee (including 18% GST) Rs.2360/- (Rs.1180/- in case of SC/ST Candidates) shall be paid through the “PAYMENT” link available in this Institute Website http://www.nimhans.ac.in and the detailed instructions for making payment are listed in the PwBD Candidates are exempted from the payment of application / processing fee.
3. The Details of application processing fee paid and its transaction details to be compulsorily filled in the provided in the application. If incomplete details are furnished by the applicant their application will berejected.
4. The prescribed application form can be downloaded from the Institute’s website http://www.nimhans.ac.in
5. The duly filled in application in the prescribed format should be submitted, so as to reach The Director, NIMHANS, P.B.No.2900, HosurRoad, Bengaluru – 560 029, India, on or before 07.01.2022 before 4.30PM.
6. Separate applications should be sent for each post.
7. In-service candidates should forward the application through their employers or produce “No Objection Certificate” along with the application, failing which the candidate’s application will not be considered under the category of in-service.
8. Indian Nationals residing abroad can apply by giving full details of educational qualifications, teaching/research experience with copies of supportive documents together with an application fee of US $ 35 for each application.
9. Candidates should enclose self-attested copies of certificates of Age Proof, Academic Qualifications, Marks Sheets (of all the years / semesters), Experience,etc.
10. No applications shall be entertained if it is incomplete / received after the last date prescribed / not forwarded through proper channel. The Institute will not take responsibility for postal delay if any.
11. No separate intimation / communication will be sent to candidates who are Not Eligible.
12. Candidates belonging to reserved category such as SC, ST, OBC & EWS may also apply for the vacancies notified against UR without any relaxation in respect of Age as per Government of India, DoPT O.M No. 36011/1/98-Estt.(Res) dated01.07.1998.
13. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/ PwBD/ EX-Serviceman candidates and Government Servants In-service (Central Civil Employees only) as per G.O.I rules.
14. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS/EX-Serviceman have to submit relevant, latest certificate/s in the prescribed form issued by the Competent Authority (Candidates applying under OBC Category should produce OBC Certificate in format enclosed).
15. In case if it is felt necessary, the Institute may not fill up any or all the above posts and if so, no separate intimation will be given to the candidates.
16. The number of vacancies / category-wise vacancies may vary or likely to change.
