Qualification & Experience-
- Professor:
As Reader/ Associate Professor in the subject for three years in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College in concerned specialty. (minimum 10 years teaching experience after completion of postgraduation).
Publications : Minimum of four Research Publications indexed in Pub Med, Excerpta Medica or Embased Medicas or Index Medicus or Index Copernicus or Scopus or Medline Journals two accepted/ published during period as Associate Professor
- Associate Professor:
As Assistant Professor in the subject for four years in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College in concerned specialty. (minimum 7 years teaching experience after completion of postgraduation) Advt. No 04 of 2020.
Publications : Minimum of two Research Publications indexed in Pub Med, Excerpta Medica or Embased Medicas or Index Medicus or Index Copernicus or Scopus or Medline Journals , accepted/ published during period as Assistant Professor.
- Assistant Professor:
Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College as Senior Resident/ Registrar/ Lecturer/ Demonstrator/ Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching faculty posts after post-graduation in the concerned specialty. The Candidates who have done super-speciality (DM/M.Ch) in concerned speciality shall be directly eligible for post Assistant Professor.The Candidate who has done DNB which fulfils the equivalent criteria of MCI for MD/MS/DM/MCh shall be considered as meeting the post-graduation qualification requirement.
- Lecturer:
M.Sc (Audiology)/M.Sc (Speech Language Pathology)/MASLP/M.Sc (Speech and Hearing) degree from RCI recognized after BASLP degree.
Qualification:
Minimum Qualification as per name of the post:- MD/DM/M.Ch/MS.
General terms and conditions:
- The application fee Rs. 1500/-(Rs 750/- for SC/ST)
- The University has right to increase or decrease the number of posts at any stage without citing any reason or not to fill any or all the posts.
- Upper Age limit: The candidate should not be more than 40 years of age in the case of Assistant Professor, not more than 45 years in case of Associate Professor and not more than 50 years in the case of Professor. In Service candidates i.e. in the case of persons already in regular employment of any department of Punjab Government/ Any State Government/Central Government in India, applying for direct recruitment for all posts shall have 10 years relaxation. For other posts the maximum age is 37 years. Relaxation is upper age limit as per Punjab Govt. Rules.
- For Ex-Serviceman:- Candidates belong to Ex-Serviceman Category shall be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of the Union from his actual age and if the resultant age does not exceed the maximum age limit prescribed for direct appointment to such vacancy in the concerned service rules, by more than 03 years, he shall be deemed to satisfy the condition regarding the age limit.
