Eligibility Criteria

Associate Professor (Pharmaceutics / Regulatory Affairs)

Essential Qualification:

Ph. D in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Pharmaceutics / Pharmaceutical Technology (Formulations) /Industrial Pharmacy with First class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree (MS. Pharm/ M. Pharm/MS/M.Sc.) with an excellent academic record throughout and at least 08 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. with published works of high
quality. The candidate should have published high-quality work (in SCI Journals)/Patents, possess a well-recognized and
established reputation, and have made significant, seminal contributions to knowledge in the relevant fields.

Desirable Qualification:

Candidates should have expertise in the field of pre-formulations studies, formulation development, fundamental and applied aspects of drug delivery, sustained and controlled release, kinetics, biopharmaceutics, development of biological & bio-similar, solid-state pharmaceutics, computational pharmaceutics, and biomaterials. Knowledge of eGMP quality requirements, and FDA/ICH regulatory requirements. Regarding pre-submission strategies, potential regulatory pathways, compliance test requirements, or clarification and follow-up of submissions under review. Interpreting rules or rule changes; Legislations governing medical products and the understanding of the technicality involved in regulatory submission; regulatory changes and interpreting its implications on the drug development and
authorization process. Preference will be given to the candidate having a minimum of 4 years’ experience at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent post having completed at least one EMR or Industry sponsored project with administrative experience like establishment of Department, etc. Candidates should have demonstrated experience of independent research in terms of guidance of Master students and Ph.D students.

Associate Professor (Medical Devices)

Essential Qualification:

Ph. D in Bioengineering/Biomedical engineering/ Mechanical Engineering with First class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree (M.Sc./M.Pharm/M.S.Pharm/B.Tech/M.Tech) in relevant field with a very good academic record throughout and at least 08 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. with published works of high quality. The
candidate should have published high-quality work (in SCI Journals)/Patents, possess a well-recognized and established reputation, and have made significant, seminal contributions to knowledge in the relevant fields.

Desirable Qualification:

Candidates should have experience in Biomechanics, BioMedical Engineering, Biomedical Devices and/or Bioelectronics. Expertise in developing and testing Biomedical devices in class 2 and class 3 category will be an added advantage. Patent filed/granted in the area of biomedical devices will be preferred. Candidates who have transfer of technology or commercialized their products will be preferred. Preference will be given to the candidates who have demonstrated adequate experience in independent research in terms of guidance of Master students, execution of sponsored/EMR projects and with publications in SCI journals Preference will be given to the candidate having a minimum of 4 years’ experience at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent post having completed at least one EMR or Industry sponsored project with administrative experience like establishment of Department, etc. Candidates should have demonstrated experience of independent research in terms of guidance of Master students and Ph.D students.

Essential Qualification:

Ph.D. with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and at least 5 years of Teaching / Research / Industrial experience with published work of high quality excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. with published works of high quality.

Desirable Qualification:

Experienced researcher in the field of cell-based therapies, MABs protein therapeutics, Gene expression, CarT and other pharmaceutical biotechnology domains. The candidate should have taken an active role in pursuing basic as well as translational research and contributed to Institutional Building programs. Experience in obtaining extramural grants, national/international fellowships, consultancy projects, curriculum development and innovative teaching and learning methods. Experience in service to the departmental, institutional, and public level including serving on committees.
