National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024: Gateway to a Future in Education

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the commencement of the application process for the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) 2024. This pivotal examination opens doors to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), a dual major program designed to cultivate the next generation of educators.

What is ITEP? ITEP is an innovative program that integrates a major in Education with a specialization in School Specific Stage, alongside a second major in a discipline of the candidate’s choice. This program is offered in selected Central/State Universities, Institutions, IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges.

Application Process Aspiring candidates can submit their applications online from April 13 to April 30, 2024, until 11:30 PM. The application portal will remain open for fee transactions through Credit/Debit Card, Net-Banking, or UPI until 11:50 PM on April 30, 2024.

Correction Window: May 2 to May 4, 2024
Examination City Announcement: Last week of May 2024
Admit Card Download: 3 days before the examination date
Examination Date: June 12, 2024 (Wednesday)
Examination Scheme The NCET 2024 will be conducted in 178 cities across India in 13 different mediums, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the National Education Policy (NEP). The test will be administered in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.

Medium of Examination Candidates can take the NCET 2024 in various languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
