Meghalaya Public Service Commission Shillong invites online application from the citizens of India for the following posts of Assistant Teachers in Government secondary Schools under the Directorate of School Educational and Literacy. Applicant who are desirous to apply as per the terms and conditions of this for recruitment to the under mentioned posts.
The Online Applications will be received up to 17:00 hrs on 5th September, 2019 and no application will be entertained after the closing date.
It is mandatory for the applicants to have acquired the requisite educational qualification(s) prescribed for the post, as on the last date fixed for submission of applications.
Assistant Teacher (Arts)
Eligibility:
Graduate in Arts with B.Ed degree from a recognized University.
Age:Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age or more than 32 years of age,. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in respect of SC/ST candidates. There is no age bar in respect of regular Government employee, who entered Government Service within the prescribed age limit.
Assistant Teacher (Life Science)
Eligibility:
Graduate in Science with B.Ed degree from a recognized University.
Age:Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age or more than 32 years of age,. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in respect of SC/ST candidates. There is no age bar in respect of regular Government employee, who entered Government Service within the prescribed age limit.
Assistant Teacher Science with Mathematics
Eligibility:
Graduate in Science with Mathematics and B. Ed degree from a recognized University.
Age:18 to 32 years and 5(five) years additional relaxation in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and 35 years in respect of candidates serving in Govt. Aided Institutions. No age limit for candidates who already in Govt. Service provided they entered service within the prescribed age limit.
Assistant Teacher (Hindi)
Eligibility:
Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce with B.Ed. Hindi as one of the subject at Degree Level from a recognized University.
OR
Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce with B.Ed having separate degree qualification like “RATNA: in Hindi Language from a recognized University.
Age:Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age or more than 32 years of age, The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in respect of SC/ST candidates. There is no age bar in respect of regular Government employee, who entered Government Service within the prescribed age limit.
