Teaching/Research institution: These can be Medical Colleges, Universities, Central or State run Institutions, which are involved in research
Regular teacher or post-doc fellow or research associate: This should be a full time assignment. Part time faculty/guest lecture etc will not be considered.
Types of articles to be considered: Original research articles and original research papers.Review articles, letters to Editors, Case reports are not considered as publications.
Criteria for National/International journal: Published by a National/International –Specialty journal/journal of a National/International professional society, provided it is Included in one of the indexes mentioned above
Junior Residency: Postgraduate training period in concerned specialty
Senior Residency: Training/professional experience after obtaining Postgraduate Degree in the concerned specialty, in an approved Medical College/ Institutions/ MCC* *MCC provides Senior Residency program and this is an intense training cum teaching program, with the approval and permission of Executive Committee of MCC. In case, institution has to recruit a faculty without required desired Senior Residency, the same should be ratified in Executive Committee and informed to the regulatory authority, if any MCI course is started
DNB Holders: For Departments designated or expected to start MCI courses in MCC, DNB holders will have the same criteria as mentioned in TEQ Regulations and will be in accordance with changing regulations of MCI (future changes shall be adapted). These Departments and Divisions are marked as * For Departments and Divisions in MCC which are unlikely or would not be considered for MCI courses in near future, DNB will be considered equivalent to corresponding MCI courses The entry cadre in MCC will be Assistant Professor for Medical Departments and Divisions Only in highly selected situations, Executive Committee shall downgrade a post of Assistant Professor to Lecturer/Tutor and recruit staff after fixing qualification.

Instruction:-
- Candidates should download prescribed application form from MCC website www.mcc.kerala.gov.in .
- Duly signed, hard/ print copy of downloaded application form, along with attested scanned copies of certificates (for proving age, qualification, experience, etc.) should be forwarded to the email mcctly@gmail.comon or before 20/06/2020 till 5 PM
- The post to which application is forwarded should be clearly metioned.
- Applications without scanned copy of certificates showing age, qualification and experience will not be considered and will be rejected without any further intimation.
- Selection will be based on qualification and experience and performance in the interview. Claims in respect of Qualifications, Experience, etc. should be supported by copies of relevant documents; Candidates should produce the originals at the time of interview.
- No TA/DA will be paid for the Interview
- Communication of interview call letter from MCC, will be through email/Post only. Candidates are advised to visit our website www.mcc.kerala.gov.in regularly for updates/ notices and announcements.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification. Candidates are advised to desist from such unholy practices.
- Age will be calculated as on 1st January of the year. i.e. 01-01-2020.
- Late applications will not be considered after the last date of submission, as mentioned.
- Interview will be conducted by regular process or through Zoom, depending on the situations. Information in this regard shall be updated in our website and candidates are requested to regularly visit MCC website for such updations.
- The Director-MCC will hold the right to reject any application without any information.
