Walk in interview for the posts of Assistant Professor in the teaching sub-cadre (Faculty) on purely contract basis for a period of one year in the following specialties will be held on the dates mentioned against each in Office of the Director, Lady Hardinge Medical College & Smt. S. K. Hospital, New Delhi.

Qualification:-

The educational qualifications and experience required for the post of Assistant Professor is as under: 

A recognized Medical Qualifications included in the first or Second schedule or part II of the III schedule (other than licentiate qualification) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition stipulated in sub section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Pediatric Nephrology:-

1. A recognized Medical Qualifications included in the first or Second schedule or part II of the Ill schedule (other than licentiate qualification) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the condition stipulated in sub section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
2. A recognized Post Graduate Degree in Pediatric with DM (Pediatric Nephrology) OR 3 year post MD teaching experience of which 2 years should be special training in Pediatric Nephrology.

Application Fee: General and OBC candidates – Rs. 500/-, SC/ST candidates – Rs. 300/-, PWD candidate – No fees

Terms and Conditions

1. The appointment shall not confer any right or preference for regular appointment.
2. In case regular candidate joins, the appointment shall automatically stands terminated.
3. No claim for any service benefit like PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Seniority & Promotion etc. from this contract appointment will be admissible. No TA/DA will be admissible for interview or joining Candidates on selection shall be allowed to join only when found medically fit. 
4. Mere possession of minimum educational qualification will not automatically confer the right for appearing in the walk-in-for interview. If the number of application is very large, the competent authority reserves the right to shortlist candidates on the basis of higher qualification/years of experience in the subject.
5. The candidate who is already in Govt. Service should submit “No Objection Certificate” from the Employer at the time of Interview.
6. The eligible candidates will have to register themselves for interview from 10.30am to 11.30 am in the Hall near Director’s Office on the day specified for interview of a particular speciality alongwith the application duly filled in the prescribed format as per annexure-I with all relevant documents in Original (i.e. Certificate in support of age, educational qualifications, Experience, Medical registration, attempt certificate, mark sheets, conference attended and publications etc.) together with the self-attested copies in support of their candidature for the post. No application will be entertained after 11.30 am. Only
twenty candidates will be interviewed in a day. In case the number of candidates is more than twenty, then the candidates registered after the 20th number, the interview for such candidates will be held on the subsequent days as per date and  time to be announced at the time of registration (which will be done only on the 1st date advertised for the interview for a particular speciality).
