Online applications are invited from the prospective candidates through the proforma application to made available on web side (http://opsconline.gov.in ) from 08-02-2020 to 02-03-2020 for the recruitment to 606 (six zero six) posts of lecturers in different disciplines in Group- A of OES in Govt. Degree College of the states under Department of Higher Education in the scale of pay – Cell –I of Level 10 of the pay matrix under ORSP(CT) rules ,2019 with usual dearness and other allowances as admissible by the Govt. from time to time

Educational Qualification :
A candidate should possess a Master Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade with Second class in the Bachelor’s Degree.
Provided that candidate belonging to the SC AND ST shall possess a Master Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade with Second class in the Bachelor’s Degree
NET in the concerned subject shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Lecturer for those with post- graduate degree but the candidates having Ph.D Degree on the concerned subjects shall be eligible and exempted from the requirement of NET
AGE:
The candidate must be under 48(four eight)years and above 21(two one) years of age on the 01 January 2020, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02 January 1972 and not later than 01 January 1999.
The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Serviceman and by 10(one zero) years for PWDs whose permanent disability is 40% and more PWDs belonging to SC/ST/SEBC category are eligible for cumulative age relaxation of 15(one five)years i.e. 10 years under PWD category and 5(five)years under SC/ST/SEBC category

A candidate is required to pay non- refundable and non adjustable fee of Rs. 400(four zero zero ) only
Conduct of Examination / Method of selection:
The candidates will be shortlisted and merit prepared as per their overall academic performance , as per their weightage laid down by the commission.
