Assistant Professor – Food Technology Department

Qualifications

  • Mandatory: Ph.D. in Food Technology

  • Essential: B.Tech & M.Tech/M.E in Food Technology / Food Engineering / Food Processing / Dairy Technology / Food Science & Nutrition / Food Safety or related specializations

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in core Food Technology subjects such as:

    • Food Processing & Preservation

    • Food Microbiology

    • Food Chemistry

    • Food Packaging

    • Dairy Technology

    • Food Safety & Quality Control

  • Engage in research, development, and industry collaboration

Preferred Experience

  • 2–5 years of teaching, research, or industrial experience

  • Hands-on exposure in:

    • Product Development

    • Food Quality Control

    • Regulatory Compliance (FSSAI, ISO, etc.)

    • Food Packaging & Processing

    • R&D Labs (CFTRI, NIFTEM, ICAR, etc.)
